Denied michaelj54's WePro Application

This is a matter of opinion.

Michael might have copied the builds from YouTube. (A lot of people do this) I've seen some rank applications that has builds copied from YouTube, but copying the builds are actually pretty hard and it does take time to build it even if it's just copying it off YouTube (Or maybe it's just me.. But that's not the point)

Sometimes we just need inspiration & ideas. I see that copying builds show you may not be a good builder since you're just literally copying it right off Internet. But Michael is actually a WEPro worthy builder.

I do agree with 88Herobrine that he did only build medieval-related builds which show you either don't like building other things or you are just not that good at building different things.


Michael probably just didn't have any ideas on what to build. He just needed ideas & inspiration And maybe medieval is his thing. (Just like snow is my thing )

So, my mind still haven't changed and it's still a +1 from me.

 

Plagiarism is a crime to creativity. It doesn't matter if it took patience or whatever, mirror-copying someones build isn't cool. If he is worthy of WEPro, then he needs to show some builds that display his skill and creativity. I change my vote to -1.

 

But the thing is, what if he cant build anywhere near as good as those videos? He needed inspiration? No, he needed good builds that nobody would find off of YouTube so he could get away with stealing these. I mean, all he made was the tree, nothing else. You shouldn't get rewarded for stealing, regardless of how long it takes.

 

I have since changed my mind. I now favor your opinion of -1

also I think you are an active and mature builder but for the WE Pro rank you should try to use your own creativity for some builds

 

Good job Michael. Amazing. Best builds ever. Only one problem. They were COPIED. If you used these builds in your WE 2 application, then you should be DEMOTED. -1,000,000,000

 

Copying builds is fine for learning purposes, just don't put them in apps. Sorry Michael, but next time you make an application put in your own work.
