[Rant] People thinking they are better from KDR/LVL

Most people determined 'better' by KDR and level because it would be logical to depend on exact numbers and percentages, right? Now of days, we all have a lot of different perspectives of 'better'. All you really need to do is just ignore all of them, at least you know you have better sportsmanship than them.

 

This absolutely annoys me. Mostly everyone my level has a 3+ kdr and I'm floating around a 2.88. There will be those people who get alts and are always like "SuperEpps22556 I have a higher kdr than you!!" I always have to say I never cared about kdr and yet people keep insisting on saying that. Everyday "pros" would come online to trash talk me all because of my kdr. Those people know who they are. No one plays for fun anymore these days. Smh

 

Play on Server 2, it's by far the best.

 

Talking to Jordy and whoever else it out there boasting about their KDRs. Just wanted you all to know,

your high KDRs are exactly the same as your Blood Alcohol Content.

I hate how people grade others on there overall kdr. My December kdr should be like 3 times higher. than my overall.

 

I agree on the fact that some people take the whole kdr thing too seriously, a bit ironic since I myself would strive for a good kdr (not really on the bragging part since I never talk .-. ). Kdr should not affect peoples perspectives on you.*Story time* I started playing war about two years ago (could be less, my perception on time isn't exactly on point, one time I forgot it was my birthday) and I was horrible to say the least, and because of that I told myself that I would become one of the “top” players in the end. I found myself thinking that to be the top it meant having a good kdr, I finally reached my goal about a week ago and I told myself, what now? I then noticed that war seemed less enjoyable for me because I tried too hard on my kdr than my actual experience. I miss the constant panicking looking around the corners on infect, the adrenaline rushing on that soon to be nuke, I basically miss having fun. I believe people in War or the whole Brawl community should stop focusing on the stats and more so the experience, when we first came onto this server we weren’t exactly looking to be at the top, we were looking to have some fun and it seems as if that idea is slowly dying out. My New Year’s resolution? Make new friends, have more fun, and actually trying out different guns. I no longer care for a silly number. (..... looks like I went on a rant too :I , sorry m8)

 

I think it's sad how everybody is so desprate to nuke that they just camp every game with the same gun and don't actually rush and play the game.

To be honest, the community has turned into a bunch of dick heads for the most part due to this. People think just because I got a higher kdr and level means im better. not true. Its just a game to have fun. I just play for the joy and the trolling. Nukes are great to get but boasting about kills is not sportsmanship. Setting challenges and completing them with underpowered weapons is true skill and a lot more thrilling than getting a triple nuke by spamming the skull crusher.

 

I don't see how it's a problem. I mean, if someone is like, "n00b, im lvl 64 !" Then I can see it as a problem, but if someone is just saying that they have good stats, or they're trying to prove they deserve a place in a clan... I think it's more of a problem with level and donated weapon status. Good post.

 

Me too, I'm lvl 74 with a 2.49 KDR and some players who are under 50 and well, this players are "Money Asker", what is it??
It's just some kid who ask money to his dad to buy equipements and be the best.
After, they have a 5-7 KDR and they are lvl 41, it's just some kids but STOP, it's just a game, nothing else...
