Idea Plz stop the ./vote command

Yeah, more people visit=more money in chaps pockets

 

I understand how it would feel like its taking away the vanilla from survival, but as other have said , voting benefits everyone and makes the server even more popular. Instead of trying to remove voting itself, maybe ask if there can be a command to remove the public messages. Not for everyone, but just for the player themselves. Good luck ! :>

 

Voting is on your IP not per account. You can only vote once every 24 hours on your internet,

I don't really think that this should be done. The /vote command allows for people to basically "advertise" the servers on voting sites. Tokens are just Mcbrawl's gift to us for voting for them.

 

I believe it's there for the purpose of advertising the server, it's helpful to us in a way. Chaploo uses his money from the server to actually pay for it. Getting rid of the voting system (losing him money) could slow down new additions to the server.

 

I would most certainly wish for this too happen. The problem is people will just vote for ranks instead of buying ranks. Nowadays everybody wants a rank and then everyone will vote for it and then the server will lose money.

Even if you are busy it isn't hard to just vote for 30 secs.

 

dont they get money for our voting? and if thats the case, add us to more sites in the case that people vote for ranks, so you still make the same or more

 

Voting systems cost nothing to set up. They're as simple as installing a plugin on a server, and pasting a unique key on whatever voting site you want to use.

We get no money for voting. Voting simply raises the rank of a server on whatever server list site you vote with.

 

/vote benefits all servers and players, as well as the community. If you do not wish to use /vote you do not have too. It is an optional command for a player, not enforced. As park said you do not have to use it for gold or pvp items, voting is there to help the server and the rewards are there if you want something in return for doing so. Not many people use /vote in pvp. Even if people do, (including myself) it does not effect pvping. Voting does not make a player better, heck, it could even be better for you. You can get a challenge. There is more people to fight, more loot. If someone votes for diamonds, makes diamond armor then goes out to pvp you can kill them OR just track the person. :>

 

Its not as much the concept of voting I have a problem with, its the rewards. The only problem I have is the amount of PvP gear and gold voters bring into us >:V

 

Voting gives the server basically a shout-out. Meaning more people see the server on websites, that means more people will play McBrawl and buy stuff from there shop. So yeah voting technically gets the server money :v

 

Just don't vote if you don't like it. Vote is pretty cool because you can get a s5 within 4 votes or so in survival pvp. I think we should keep /vote

 

I understand the frustration of the /vote command, however it does give players an reason to vote for the server, which then makes the server more popular, and attracts more players, which is always a good thing.

At first I did think it was a bad thing as people could get p4 armour from doing basically no work and just voting, but everyone and anyone can vote, so it is fair for everyone.

I do think some of the things like the amount of gold you get for your vote tokens is a bit too much, but changing this will, like SilverR11 said - "people will just vote more and get alts and stuff imvolved and it'll be a huge mess"

Coders spent time on this plugin, and I think it is here to stay, at least for a while, which I'm fine with.

I don't think /vote should be discontinued because of its purpose to help expand and benefit the server in popularity. It benefits everyone making it fair for the whole Brawl community. Although I do think the voting rewards should be nerfed because of PvP Survival not requiring dedication but just /vote.
