Hello, fellow McBrawl members. Today, I'll list down a complete rundown on the entire Mc-War server. This guide fully covers multiple maps, map types, game modes, full weapons and other information you should know. Credit: Wiki&Community

Mc-War is a Minecraft server based on a well-known first person shooter franchise, Call of Duty. The server features guns, perks, explosives, maps from actual Call Of Duty games, and much more.
The server was first opened in the fall of 2012, and was developed by a retired, yet a well-know developer in our community, orange451. He is also known for developing our MineStrike server and Mc-WarZ.

    Valuable information.
Each time you are in the spawn area of Mc-War server, you will have multiple items in your HUD bar. These will include a 'chest' for class customization and for a weapon store, and a book or two. These will cover the most basic info you should know in order to fully understand the experience.

    Clans.
Being in the same clan as some other players in the same server will result in you being in the same team during TDM/CTF game modes. They allow for more advanced teamwork.
/clan - lists all of the commands.
/clan join - allows for you to join a clan.
/clan invite <playername> - will invite a player to clan. Clan mod+ only.
/clan kick <playername> - kicks a player from clan. Clan mod only.
    /clan create <name> - creates a clan.
/clan rename <new_name> - renames current clan to a new name.
/clan mod <playername> - provides a player with an ability to kick and to invite new players. Clan owner only.

Level ranks are the abbreviations and names of the ranks for each level. After prestiging, it will stay at 30+ until you reach 60. After reaching 60+, it will stay at 60+ until you reach level 80. From there, it will stay at 80+ until you reach level 100, then it will stay at 100+.

Donator ranks are VIP and MVP.

    Class customisation and weapon store.
By right-clicking a chest, you will redirected to a chest-like inventory, showing 2 items. The first one will lead to a class customization page, where you can equip certain guns and other assets. The other one leads to a weapon store, which you can buy firearms, but nothing else. In order to buy some weapons, you'll need to get kills and level up; weapons require a certain level and a certain amount of credits. Non-prestige weapons will cost 100 or below credits each. Prestige weapons on the other hand, will cost a lot more. In order to access donator perks and weapons, you'll have to use real mone.

    Game modes.
Each and every single game mode in Mc-War is designed accordingly to the their counterpart in the Call Of Duty, and they have the same rule set. Each one of them is unique, and features various different play styles and objectives.

In FFA there are no teams, and every player fights on his or her own. You also don’t have always the same spawnpoint, you can spawn anywhere on the map you are playing on. A game will end when time runs out, or if a player gets 20 kills.
Every player starts with only a sword and the starter weapon, a USP45 in his inventory. When you kill someone your weapon will level up. A game will end when the timer runs out, or if a player successfully rotates through all weapons in the gun list which is 31 weapons.
In this gamemode every attack will one shot other players. This includes bullets, equipment, and your knife. You only receive one bullet, and you can gain another bullet by killing a player. You have 3 lives, and you are out when you lose all your lives. A game will end when time runs out, or if everyone but one person is eliminated.
TDM is the most basic and well known gamemode. There are 2 teams, each with a spawnpoint that does not change through the game. The 2 teams, red and blue, have colored names and also colored armor on and have the same amount of players. The goal for a team is to get more kills overall than the other team. A game will end when time runs out, or if a team gets a certain number of kills.
Infected is a a gamemode in which the infected must kill, or infect all survivors. When the game starts, all players except one are survivors. The selected player is the root infected, and gets decreased explosive damage and a skeleton skull on his head. All infected can hit a survivor to kill or infect them in one hit. In addition, equipment like grenades and C4 can be used as both a survivor and an infected player. However, tacticals (molotovs and flashbangs) do not work as an infected. A game will end when time runs out, or if everyone is infected.
CTF is pretty similar to TDM with the only difference being the goal of the gamemode. The main objective is to take the enemy flag, which is normally close to their team spawnpoint and bring it to your own. There will be a gold block in the ground with a fence post on top and a floating wool block of red or blue which you can pick up by running past it. A game will end when time runs out, or if a team gets 6 flag "points".

    Weapons.
Guns are an essential part of the game, as they are one of the core gameplay mechanics. Mc-War offers a variety of various weapons with different stats and gameplay aesthetics.
    Login weapons:
    M16
    M1014
    USP .45

    Python (Secondary)
    Skullcrusher (Primary)
    P90 (SMG)-(Primary)
    UMP45 (SMG)-(Primary)
    PP90M1 (SMG)-(Primary)

    Pistols.
Pistols are sidearms designed for close to medium range fire fights, and aren't generally that powerful. They are semi-automatic and have a slow-medium rate of fire, and low to high damage. Requires precision to use.

    SMGs
These are fully automatic primary weapons designed for close range fighting. They are meant for close to medium range gunfights, and have a very fast rate of fire in trade for damage. Consider conserving ammunition.

    Automatics.
These weapons have a great range and are simple to use. They will deal medium to high damage and can be used in both close and long distances. Very versatile.

    Sniper rifles.
Sniper rifles are well-known in the community of the Call of Duty, and are a key element in here as well. Sniper rifles will lack mobility and rate of fire in most occasions, but they deal amazing amounts of damage, capable of 1-shotting an enemy player.

    Shotguns.
Well, shotguns are designed for close range only, and will deal very high damage to close enemies. They are not very good in long range engagements, while they pack quite a punch in terms of damage.

    Donator weapon: LAW
This weapon is designed to fire rockets that deal high damage and have an area of effect. It will deal high damage, but have a lower mobility.

    Donator weapon: Crossbow
This weapons has the same mechanics as the default now, and it will 1-shot any target that is hot or within the area of effect.

    Donator weapon: flamethrower
Flamethrower is designed to spit out fire rapidly, and is best used in order to distract the enemy and to allow for you to evade. Isn't very powerful, yet can be difficult to play against.

    Donator weapon: Demolisher.
This weapon fires an accurate yet straight beam of death , dealing high and rapid damage in trade of almost all of the ammunition. It is best used in the 'Infected' game mode.

    Killstreaks:
    Currently, there are 3 default killstreaks;
    5 - ammunition
    Gives additional ammunition.

    15 - EMP blast
Blinds the enemy team for a limited amount of time.

    21 - Tactical nuke
Kills the entire enemy team, once launched.

Each one of them is unique.

    Maps.
Maps are a gameplay aesthetic, and your knowledge of them can often allow for you to have an advantage over other players while engaging in combat. The following are the best recognized maps in the community.
This is a close range map with 3 lanes. It is set in a snowy environment and provides both teams with an advantage. While red team spawns at a helipad, they have the lower ground, while blue team has a bigger chance of being flanked easily.
Favela is a close to long ranged map with a ton of routes you can take. It is very interesting to play this map.
This is a medium ranged map with a choke point located at a spot with ladders. It's a very entertaining map to play and it is good for experimenting weapons.
An amazing map set aboard a ship. This is the very first map to be both based off Call of Duty and feature a ship. It has a good amount of lanes and a close to medium ranged fighting with a choke point in the middle.

    Perks.
Perks can only be obtained via donating and they are very useful. Some offer effects effecting the physical stats of the player (marathon, speed, Juggernaur), while others affect gunplay (stopping power, scavenger, Sleight Of Hand). They are equally as useful, if you know how to use them.
On kill, you receive 10 primary and 15 secondary ammo.
You take 2/3 of bullet damage.
You hunger bar doesn't drain at all, therefore allowing for you to run forever.
Speed potion effect is applied, therefore your move faster.
You reload your weapons twice as fast.
All killstreaks cost 1 kill less.
Drops an armed grenade upon dying.
You take 1/2 less explosive damage.

    War shop.
You can also purchase expendable items using
    '/war buy' command, such as;
    -Armor
    -Molotovs
    -Grenades

All of these items will only last for a single round, and will expire after the round is over.

    Advanced gameplay techniques.
It is always useful to outsmart your enemy, so here will be some of the most effective yet basic strategies list.

This tactical maneuver is performed, when rather than directly engaging with the enemy, you approach him from behind or from a side. There is a possibility of surprising your enemy.
Rushing is performed, when you charge ahead and act quickly, without letting your enemy have time to take you down. Aggressive strategy, that can sometimes be useless against players who have powerful weaponry.
This simple strategy can be performed by remaining in a single position and holding it down. This can sometimes be useful in order to counter better players than you.

Thank you for reading this guide. In purpose to shorten it, I have included multiple spoilers. It took me about an hour to find information and combine it, all of this was written on a mobile phone.

Although it took 10 minutes to read, very well done guide! The spoilers compliment the information very well. I enjoy seeing guides with a lot of time and effort put into them.

Not even gonna bother asking for someone to lock it.
As for now, I think that even if staff bother to do something with this thread, they'll pin a guide by someone else. Just watch a moderator write a thread and pin it.
