    Jan. 16th Event Recap​

    Here is the summary of the last livestream event on http://twitch.tv/way2hot4s. The main event we had planned ended up being slightly a flop. We expected to be able to defend the top of the base, but couldn't sustain against ~40 players in full diamond with protection. Even though the event lasted around 15 minutes the players and the staff had a fun time attacking and defending.


    The Result

    Congratulations to him, and we thank everyone else who participated for coming.

    What was Planned

    Defend the Base:
    We planned this event to be first to gain hype for the upcoming Survival reset. However, an hour before the event many issues arose after us upgrading to 1.8 such as name-tags not showing up at all. The staff was quickly overrun at the top of the castle leading to a quick victor.

    Survival Reset:
    Originally planned @ 7:00 PM EST but delayed until 8:00 PM. During this time we gave away 5 VIPs as a way to say our apologies for the inconvenience.

    Parkour & King of the Ladders:
    These events were planned to be done after the reset, but people just wanted to play Survival right away without any of the events which we agreed on. This is completely fine, we will be saving these event ideas for another livestream. :smile:



    We cannot thank the people enough who participated and hope to see them join the events we have to come. We've decided to do a few changes to Way2hot4Friday which will be explained in an announcement later this week. Stay tuned!

    I think the event could have been much better. In my opinion the event wasn't that good (No disrespect for the staff).

    I think I could have improved.
    1) The event shouldn't have been free for everyone to break. Anyone could have easily built a cannon and whooped the complex.
    2) The event was really short, I think future events should take more time so people can enjoy the fun.

    I completely agree with xgen. :v I was so pissed that I was really close, and it was at the beginning. :/
    So I just blew up the area. :grinning:
