Is the forums really the best place to take this up with me? If I am rude and mean for stating my opinion, then fine. So be it. Sorry for speaking my mind.

 

okay, listen. she was just stating her opinion. that doesn't make her mean to everyone. and like there's lots of people that comment with negative remarks, okay, it happens. she's not trying to be mean at all.

Listen guys, let's not start a war here.

Personally people need the 'mean comments' (or successive criteria) to learn from their mistakes. In this application, I can see (Hypothetically speaking) that there is a lack of detail, instead of just saying "-1", I would say:

'Hi, I'm going to give a few points about your application, firstly, I believe that your application lacks quite amount of detail, detail is nearly as important as your builds, so here's an example of a good answer to the "Why do you need the rank?" question....'

Clearly, this is the right statement to one's application, it helps them to know what they have done wrong, therefore in the future when you do another application or even your CV you will have impressive grammar that helps aim the reader to a more positive rating.

As you can see, the comments that people like me, @zachattack1208, @TheAmazingNat make are all aimed to help the applicant rather than insult them, we are not deliberately trying to verbally harm them but we are trying to help the time.

Instead of hating the people who try to help you, you should appreciate that people like me, Zach and Nat are spending our time to give useful feedback that will help you, instead of just clicking the "Yes (+1)" or the @No (-1)".

If that hurts you, get off the internet. You obviously can't take being insulted, and in this case,
