Let's Work with This #1: AA12

So I'm going to post these whenever I can, but this page will be frequent tips on how to use guns to their fullest potential with hopefully easy to digest rules and simple, short tips.

Overall gun rules:

Use your sights! (left click)

Be mobile! Don't just crouch and shoot, make sure your on your feet and getting around your enemies (or to your goal and so forth)!

Play with your brain, not your mouth/gun!

Shotgun tips:

Shotguns usually shoot in a large spray, so your sights are usually not required.

Shotguns are point black - close range weapons. The closer you are, the higher the damage.

The AA12 is an underestimated gun, holding 20 bullets or sprays per clip. Most people will complain about the AA12 since it fires midrange and yet it doesn't do much damage even after 20 blasts. If you observe closely, the AA12 has a strong kb on the player it hits (the opposite of the model!) and lets remember, it's a shotgun! Here's some key points to play efficiently with the AA12 in a tdm/ctf/ffa/gungame scenario.

1. Juking with the AA12 is how you do major damage. The closer you are, the more damage you will be sending into your target since well, the AA12 fires a massive wide spread spray if it goes too far and fires kindof like a automatic rifle. Juking with the AA12 is practically the best method you can utilize the AA12's full power in. Other then that you can do a rooftop spray on enemies who pass by under you (in seatown this is heavily effective).

2. The AA12 deals large kb, try to force your enemy onto a corner (not on the border of the map) or small space they can't climb over and either fully shoot them or knife them about halfway. Or if you want to do a fun trap, lure and enemy to a corner and trap them, making sure you avoid their gunfire and have a grenade/c4 detonate on them.

If you play infect with AA12

1. Follow step 2.

2. Pick your enemies off one by one! Utilize your pistol aswell, I recommend carrying an exe and tomahawk to ensure your maximum safety.

Perks and consumables that work best with AA12:

Martyr and Speed are the perks I recommend most. Martyr allowing you to get coverage from a large team who get backstabs on you in a small area and speed works well with shotgun users for it allows quick escape and easy backstabs

Tomahawk works like a 2nd knife and I usually pair that with molotov to weaken a trapped enemy faster.
