Predicted War 2.0 date: 2069

 

I was thinking more of #soon, but I guess that would work too.

War 2.0 comes out when Half-life 3 is out.

 

Why not release small updates instead of one big blob which would take so long that the community is pleasing for an update.

Well that would be a start.

 

You know, we want War changed, but we don't exactly want a revamp that makes it play nothing like it used to.

 

That is exactly what we are doing. The new guns plugin is extremely close to release. Not only will this HEAVILY change the game-play of War, WarZ, KitBrawl 2.0, and SG w/ Guns, but this will truly be the most unique content released on Brawl for quite some time.

The point I'm trying to make is this: "War 2.0" is this mysterious entity which no one really knows about. People claim @orange451 had this great vision for war and that he was going to bring it out ASAP, but the truth is: his "War 2.0" isn't "2.0" at all. It was an updated version of crap.

I'll be honest and call the current War what it really is: crap. It may have been good at its time of release, but this is 2015 now. You guys have demanded a better standard of server and you will get that, but to truly outdo the past, starting fresh was a must. This is why War cannot be "gradually updated" to 2.0. When (not if) War 2.0 comes out, it's not coming out in installments, it's coming out all at once.

Facts:
- War 2.0 will be the best Call-of-Duty server in Minecraft once released, hands down. You guys have waited patiently for it, and your patience will be rewarded with a truly unique and great server.
- War 2.0 will feature the newest guns, which will soon be released on the current War, current WarZ, KitBrawl 2.0, and SG w/ Guns.
- War 2.0 will come out by the beginning of summer (mid May, 2015). You guys may joke about this but I am 100% confident in this ETA. I will personally not accept any later ETA than this.
- War 2.0 and Moba are currently being worked on. Both plugins share a brand new, common, Game-API; meaning: success in the coding of Moba will mean success in the coding of War 2.0.
- Brawl is being completely revamped. This means new EVERYTHING. This means not only should you be extremely excited for the new servers' release, but also for everything else that is accompanied by them.

You're calling the server that we all loved and played on for 2-3 years crap?
If this "2.0" thing is going to change the plugin that's it will become indistinguishable from the old one then I (and many of the other people I assume) don't want this.

It is crap. Compared to the newest servers out there, war is bad. Given all the new features that have come out that are still not being utilized by war, it's bad. Given its current architecture (laggy), it's bad.

I dont see how we should believe that it will come out in may, when you yourself said in december that it would come out in January.

 

You thought I was serious? Almost anything I put in my channel name is meant to be a joke.

 

We were waiting a while for the so called "2.0 update." At that point, we were ready to believe anything. You better keep your word on it this time.

 

People are still talking about 2.0 ITS JUST A MYTH PEOPLE! It's not coming out.
