Compass issues

    My compass is stuck always pointing in the same position no matter what mode it's on. it is always pointing behind me and its really nerve racking because i have no clue if there is an enemy.

    I'm assuming you have optifine, and you turn most of your animations off. In order for your compass to work properly, you must have 'Terrain Animations: ON" or the compass will not work.

    I'm fairly certain that this should fix your problem as I had the same issue a while ago.

    Pretty sure Cappuccino is right, except that you need textures animated, not terrain animated.

    No, it's terrain animated.


    I video was glitchy, but it proves that only terrain animation effects compasses.
