Suggestions for "Helper" rank.

Even though my voice may be minuscule in this arguement, I believe this rank should not and is not one of authority. Helper would simply only be a rank for assisting players, not necessarily patrolling servers. In this sense, helpers will only be there to respond to players, and occasionally, bring the attention of a disruptive player to higher authority using the commands that have been brought up. Nonetheless, this rank should not be associated with power, strength, and dominance. It is a helping rank, and only ment to help others.

On a second note, making the rank not power or authority-based will actually make there be less applicants as well as more staff prospects. Everyone applies for mod to have the permissions, but if people are truly qualified, they must willing to help. And by seeing if they just will do so will benefit future staff evaluations.

 

This is a good idea, although players can also "contact" staff using /report. The Helper rank should be obtained by an SMod+ asking them if they would like the Helper rank because they are contributing to the community more than usual.
