age staff apps

14 is decent enough in my opinion. I'm currently 13 years of age and I could care less if the age limit was raised higher than 14. Can you imagine 13 year old brats screwing around with the server and forums. I wouldn't take it so seriously if I were ever rejected.

 

I'm 12 too and don't appreciate the fact that I most likely wouldn't have a chance at getting mod even though I am mature for my age and have plenty of experience with multiplayer servers and being staff on other servers.

 

You could either be patient and wait until you are 14 or you don't have to make an application. If you make an application now, it'll instantly be rejected.

When I judge apps, I'll give them in one of the grades as a +1 if they're 16 or older (not +1 as their final grade)

 

To be honest with everyone, I do not believe anyone under 16 should apply because of those who apply who are below that age are sometimes immature power hungry kids who just want to have moderator and not truly use the position for server purposes or just having the name just to show off. For mod applications, its a serious commitment and I think we need people who actually care about the position rather than having it just to say you have it. 16 is ok but I wish it were 18, you would have less drama and more commitment in my opinion.

 

I feel that you should give everyone a change from 13+, at 13 some people begin to mature and it's unfair for the people who have matured somewhat and want a shot at helping the server out. This may be slightly bias because I am 13 but in all honesty I feel that this is a reasonable age to become mod.

Not many people on this server are 16 and many of the current mods that aren below 16 are doing exceptionally well for being a mod. Making it 16 would cut down the amount of mods greatly making the server more prone to spammers and people who are just here to annoy people and make the gaming experience on this server a bit less fun than it could be. Just my opinion.

Yes well you are a new member to the forums so don't be looking for mod any time soon until you have reached at least 60+ posts/messages.

 

The funny thing is, I'm actually 14. So this is matter of intrest for me. I think although there should be an age cap, execptions should be made in some cases.

 

Like I said, its just my opinion. Then again, I forget that this community is more for the younger folks, still 16+ is good.

I think age isnt the most important requirement for a staff member, of course it need to be a mature person to get promoted, but there are other aspects that are even importanter

a nice idea would be having a skype/teamSpeak interview for the mods with nice apps. Like a second phase of hiring

 

I prefer 13 maturity is all that really matters but you have to be 13+ for me.

Anyways, 14 is good enough. However, it really depends on the application. (I'm 13, and only one or 2 other mods are 13 :v)

 

I was accepted when I was 15, and I like this age. Of course there are people who are 13 who are very mature, but anyone under 13 is an auto-deny for me. Just my opinion.
