The Templars (25/25) [Disbanded]

Hello, and welcome to "The Templars" team thread. We’re a European team and we were founded by CubbyScout on 6th March 2013, making us the second oldest active team behind Delta Force. We came about to get all the old A1-regulars together so we could all still enjoy matches with one another while meeting all of the amazing players from other servers. We strive to support and to have great teamwork as well as having as much fun as we can while treating everyone like a family member.

Our History

Back in the summer of 2012 when there were only a few servers, A, B, C and D, with the first one being located in Europe, a bunch of friends played almost daily together and had a lot of fun. But after the European server got removed, the group started to scatter around all the other servers. One of the former group members didn't want this group of friends to disappear after such a long time of being together so he decided to start a group on Facebook where all the old people could hang out together. Then an idea came about which was discussing what would happen if they created an official CTF - team on the forums along with all the other former teams. While gaining a lot of positive feedback it was also an opportunity to gather all the friends together so that we could all play together again as a team while playing with other official teams too. Shortly after that, a pending thread was created. And a few days later, on the 6th of March 2013, the new team ,The Templars, was born. A team where the old regulars of the European server could play together like in the old days. From this day forward we've had one of the best online experiences ever and the reason for that is because of all the people we've met during the time we play on the server. We've grown into a small family who communicate together on Skype and who also playing together on the same server.

• More information:
>We generally prefer our players to be european players, because most of us come from Europe and the A-Server which are in Europe, and want teammates to experience the same amount of lag that we do. That way, it's fair between all the members in our team, and because you share a timezone we get to see you more often. If you aren't european, no worries, if we see you ingame often enough and like you, we'll still consider you. Our home server is a01.eu.mcctf.com, and while some of us prefer playing on blue, we don't really care which team (blue/red) you are on.
While we use Skype for our daily communication, we also hop on our TeamSpeak server from time to time especially for teammatches and also for normal talks.
