Is Not Having A Social Life... Good?

real talk for a second here

you can play games, get straight As and have a social life all at the same time

just don't hang around idiots hang around the smartasses so you can have that social life and those grades homie

make sure you got a phone and a snapchat or some**** because thats basic social life imo (also cause of them thirsty white girls)

I personally don't like many people and prefer to be to myself that's just who I am but if you feel as if you would like to have more people to talk to in your life then I think you should definitely improve your social life. I sometimes feel like I should improve mine and then I go out with friends and immediately regret it xD. Besides, chances are you'll run into a lot of people in college who share the same interest's as you and college is always a new start to not be known as the antisocial person you once were if that is what you choose. Good luck with whichever you decide to do.

 

Hey, man. I'm a loner, too. I have friends in real life, but I don't talk to them that often. My one best friend kinda ditched me for these other girls that are completely different from me, and she acts totally different around them than she does around me. So, I'm not sure if she's a true friend or not.

To be honest, the most amazing friend I've ever had is one that I met online. I may not talk to a bunch of people all the time, but I always look forward to the moments when I get to talk to my best friend. You seem like you're pretty close to the people you talk to, so can't that be enough?

Also, there are people that have worse lives than you. So, my advice is to just think that whenever you're feeling down and hopeless, just think of all the things that you are so lucky to have, like your small group of friends. Some people don't have any friends, offline or online. So, you're lucky to at least have somebody.

DarSwag, I don't really know you, but I'm sure you're a decent person. If you ever think your life has no meaning, then you're wrong. Your life is very valuable. You are part of the new generation that will shape the world just as our ancestors did. Whoever you are, I believe in you, buddy.

On a serious note, having a social life does impact your future as an adult (IF YOU EVEN MAKE IT THERE LOLOLOLOLOL). Colleges don't just look at grades, they look at your service hours/records, your participation in clubs, sports, etc. That and tbh most recluses come across as d-bags in society.

Yes and No, if you have no life in games you could grow up creating games and being famous and rich, Second of all if you have a life you can do amazing things like sports and become very rich and famous so it's about a 50/50

I don't have a social life. All i do is say "I don't like you, go away" if people try talking to me. If they make me mad, I hurt them. Once I'm home, i get on the computer and watch anime and hope ctf is up after a few episodes. That's my non social life for you. I don't even have high vitamin D levels

Oh and I also don't use social media, nor use my phone for texting. When I go to the bus stop, I have my mom drive me and I wait to get out, once the bus comes. I wont stand like an idiot and be a dick like I want to, I'll get in trouble.

 

At least develop some social skills. You'll need them later. Especially when getting a job, because you need to be capable of maintaining an intelligent conversation.
