    I want new players to come to WarZ and I want them to preferably know how to combo and be good at some point. Because there is this thing called learning how to be good. Now what I dont want is this to turn into a server where every single person is MVP/Really good and the new players stand no chance. I am all for a server with no combos as long as there is a server with combos so old people would stay.

    How am I supposed to get good if I get 1 shot every 30 minutes as soon as I get half-decent gear?

    Well, you could always make sure you don't go to Zone 6's until you're ready to defend yourself.

    Ex. Go to a smaller town, loot up for full iron, T2 guns, etc, then go to the Zone 6 so you can fend off for yourself.

    Notice how the only people who rated the thread "agree" were MCPVP people :stuck_out_tongue:
    I was once awful, but now I'm half decent. As Skater said, stick to smaller towns. Go to a zone 5, there may be good people there, but usually are not. It is all trial and error, and finding what strategy suits you best.

    Well if you are getting oneshot that most likely means that you were in a position to get shot. Also if you are mad about getting hit out of render then you can easily find out where the guy is with a compass. Also you need to get good at dodging. You can not get oneshot if you cant be hit. Also in a server with oneshots you should learn how to oneshot. A main tactic is to quickscope people. So really its most likely that you just need to get better at dodging and fighting.

    You want me to dodge bullets? Its not MC-Matrix (then again, that'd be awesome, I'm sure we can agree on that). Even if I do dodge it, they can easily enough take another shot.

    I'm not mad at getting hit out of render either, although just getting a compass won't be a solution if I were. Compasses are hard to get.

    I already know how to oneshot - with a oneshot gun (and presumably headshotting for even more damage). No matter how good I am at fighting, I need a weapon that can oneshot if I am able to oneshot people.

    I dont mean dodge the shot, I mean move so the bullet does not hit you. Lemme guess. When you are fighting someone you stand still and take good shots. What you need to do is move so when they take their shot the time in between shots you can shoot them. You might ask "well when you are shooting they will just take another shot", The only guns that can oneshot full iron or bring them to like .5 hearts on HEADSHOT are the m40a3 and the barret Which both have very slow firerates so you can easily kill/hit them in between shots. So basically you need to learn how to dodge shots and quickscope. If you know both and you can do both at the same time I guarantee you you will not die as much. Also my I ask how long you have played warz?

    So I need to move so the bullet doesn't hit me, but not dodge the shot? That kinda contradicts itself... and in fights I move all the time. In Minecraft your player moves rather slowly, and its extraordinarily easy to hit moving targets with guns (not so much with bows, though). And me being new to WarZ is exactly my point. As I explain before - myself, along with a lot of McPvPers, aren't enjoying 1 shot guns. You want new players to not like WarZ?
