Servers cannot and will not handle this many people on a server

    As evidenced from what I have seen today. In a 30 minute playing period the following things happened:

    Parts of the map disappeared and reappeared at will. Other people reported this too meaning it is a server side issue.

    Archer and pyro's bows will either shoot 10 seconds after releasing or not at all. If pyro does shoot, the explosion actually happening is another 50/50 chance, and it affecting anyone is another 50/50 chance.

    If I got into a fight I would automatically lose because steaking takes 10 seconds to activate

    Maps, especially small ones were clogged with people

    These problems don't happen on the hub or any other Brawl server

    The root of all this is simply that the server can't have 100+ people playing CTF at once and still load all of the complicated plugins needed to run a game of CTF. Player limit should be 70 or even 50.

    At the time of writing ping counts were 109 on one hub, 110 on another and 111 on 1.mcctf.com so its not a connection issue, it's just plain old server lag.

    We are right now Beta testing the server, which is the reason why only a single server was up. Of course with 100 players online the server will lag. As soon as we are finished testing we will set up 3 servers, not a single one. The server amount might be adjusted more based on the player count as well.

    We beat out WarZ in player count at one point today, yet WarZ has 10 servers and we have 3, equal to MineStrike. Now, an ideal CTF player count is 20-30 people per server with 40 during peak hours and a maximum of 50. Based on this I would think 2-3 more servers would do well.

    I have not played too much CTF yet, but I should report that I personally have had no problems at all.
    Well I mean the gamemode isn't completely developed yet.

    Please remember that CTF is not fully released yet. We would appreciate if you could wait with your complaints until we finished our work on the servers.

    I've experienced the map not loading last night and i had to continuously kill myself until the map loaded and I wasn't seeing invisible blocks.
    Yes, servers can have lots of players. I'm pretty sure any server's lag is due to how much RAM they have. Normally it can be fixed by either seeing what is taking up so much space or getting more. Which means more money which I have no idea if Brawl can pay for that but that's one of the reasons why donator exists is to help pay for the server's RAM/plan they have with the server host.

    Although I know this is an issue... you can just do f3+a or fn+f3+a. That'll reload the world for you. xD
