Little problem in a map.

    I just wanted to inform you guys about a problem on the map Forest of Rivals. I think it needs a remake truthfully. For the old ctf'ers, I'm sure you know why tree's are really bad in a map? That shows in this map. I just went getting 3/5 caps without touching the ground on my way back. It seems too overpowered in my opinion, if you could, maybe change this, or someone, make a remake?

    Maps can't be changed right now, because Build isn't up yet. I think the problem lies in soldier, not the maps. You don't have to touch or only have to touch the ground a few times for a lot of maps.

    The maker of Forest of Rivals actually made a V2 of it. I thought it looked pretty good and I hope to see it replace the current one. I'm pretty sure it fixes all the problems you mentioned.

    The CTF mods are realeasing a CTF Map Wave soon. @AXtrego Mods said 'probably' in the next map wave.

    Still, the size of this map, and the tree's, make it a easy capping map. But I agree, most maps are like this, but this is one of the commonly played maps that has this problem, other's are way bigger.

    Forest of Rivals is small, but that just makes it faced paced. Personally, I like it.

    I feel like touching the ground as soldier is overrated. Like Alex said this is a problem with the class IMO.

    OMG MISKEY UR SO FINE! But seriously, It's mostly the maps. Maybe both? If the maps provide a **** ton of tree's and tall buildings, you are going to be soldier op on it. And the ability to even wallclimb, a fly like ability, is op too.

    If we want to make soldier less op by changing maps, we will have to change almost every map (except Metro). I think that if we have to change every map, that says something about the class.
