Idea New vs. Old HUD?

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but to be honest I like the new HUD better. I don't like the big chat in the middle of the screen, but if they made the flag possession alerts to just be the small chat more down towards the hot bar (I think where kill streaks flash) then the scoreboard is 10x better than the old chat-based HUD.

The old chat HUD (just for the Brawl players that may not know) was where the HUD was a message displayed in a (I assume custom made) plugin that kept sending the HUD as a chat message, with the normal chat below it (so it took up half of chat).

I really didn't like it because the chat would occasionally flash because it was for the most part smooth but occasionally bugged. Also though the biggest thing was it took up so much screen space, and was really annoying to me.
I like the scoreboard because it's off to the side, not nearly as big as the chat HUD, and shows everything you need in a clear way.

So I'm just saying I like the scoreboard, just get rid of the big flashy text in the middle of the screen and keep the medium size text near the bottom of the screen and everything would be great.

And just because it seems like not a lot of people have said it/appreciate you, thanks Brawl Staff in general for everything. Putting up with these crazy radical MCPvP-ers (who could probably find a way to blame Brawl for global warming) and dedicating your time from your main network of existing games to adding and even improving our beloved game modes.
