    No. I'm not here to complain that it's a banner. That's just a matter of getting used to the the fact that it isn't a piece of wool.

    - For gameplay's sake and from what I'm hearing from people, the old lightning strike noise for when the flag gets stolen would be nice to have back to actually let me know that I stole instead of an annoying popup message.

    Though if possible, just revert the flag completely to what it was.

    - Although more of a personal gripe, having the banner on a fencepost would be nice too.

    Why? It just adds to the feeling.

    Banner on a fencepost? -0
    There is no real point for it IMO.

    Revert the flag to what it used to be? +0
    I like it, but also don't like it.

    I kinda like the flag being a banner. What I don't like about the flag is that every time I steal it, it takes me a different amount of time each time. Sometimes I instantly get it while other times I have to wait. It should take the same amount of time every time.

    @bassmaster6: Ninjas have to stand by the flag for 1.5 seconds, but all the other classes have to wait 1 second to pick up. Perhaps you're just lagging?

    It's been feeling rather in consistent as of late, but maybe that's because I'm moving around the flag too much when I try to steal and I end up stepping out of its range.

    I agree with what you said, Tyson; I think a nice compromise between wool and banners could be a banner on a flagpost. I like the wool more, but if we MUST have banners, it'd be nice for people not to be able to hide inside of them, and have the perks of the old flags. Also bring back the fountain on your head instead of the derpy banner >.< The banner blocks all projectiles, which is kinda bad for gameplay.
    Also, from what I've heard, Nom's trying to make the notifications toggleable, but he's having to work on Build first because it has to be out before Brawl gets taken to court or something xD

    I'm sure others have already discovered this, but you can light the banner on fire and burn your own teammates. Just something I find annoying.

    I hate how the banner shows up in the middle of the screen. It's annoying.

    As for the banner being the flag, that's weird. It's odd. I liked how there was an actual indication that someone had the flag when it was wool. Such as wool popping out the top of their head.
