    Elf;

    Hey so I play Elf a lot and it's really fun but it's really hard to kill in general so these are a couple minor buffs that won't change it drastically but maybe help ease the learning curve.

    Pure Element;
    Has Infinity I on this bow, so that you'll always have some sort of ranged weapon. I get that the arrows run out mostly as a cap for flying and Earth Element, but it's hard to not really be able to have your main source of damage, just because you flew a couple blocks up.
    Now it's still not going to be completely unlimited. If you flew really really far and completely blew all your arrows so that you got the white glass pane, then you still couldn't use Pure Element because you need at least 1 arrow, so it's still balanced (imo).

    Earth and Water Element;
    When you left click these Elements, their effect happens right at your feet (at the cost of 1 arrow of course). This is just a slight buff to the class to help extinguish yourself/allies quickly and to help get away/aid in the melee aspect of this class.

    Air Element;
    So I understand that this is mostly used for flying, but why not have it still useful as a weapon? Right now if you shoot it, it knocks the enemy back maybe 2 blocks max. I think it should have an effect where when it lands, all enemies near the landing site of the arrow are pushed back ~7 blocks. It would cost 1 arrow and have the same smokey effects when it lands as it does when you fly.

    You may think that some of these are op but note they still all cost arrows (except Pure Element), and you only have so many. Also it can be difficult to land PE twice in a row in the small amount of time it gives you for the 6 hearts pure damage, so I think it balances out nicely.

    General CTF;
    2 things;

    Steak;
    Visual Change: I agree that these should just be instantly usable health pots (still heals 4 hearts, just for visual purposes) just because it's kind of weird using like pre Beta 1.8 Minecraft mechanics, literally 2+ years later lol.

    Mechanic Change: So I had this idea that won't be too drastic but I think will make the game more fun. In general I always think it's not a good idea to punish people for surviving for too long. The classes that use steak are punished for surviving too long because their only means of health regen (other than Medics) are naturally going to be dwindled down over time, even through just fall damage alone that you would take over the course of staying alive through even 5 minutes.
    So I had two ideas.
    Either gain sometime of HP regen item that heals only 2 hearts everytime you get a kill.
    Or
    If you're out of combat, every 20 seconds you'll regain a steak, up to the limit that your class started with.

    The purpose of these changes wouldn't be to give more health during a fight, but just so you don't feel like you have to kill yourself every 5 minutes to regain steak.

    A cool armor mechanic??;
    So this was just a cute little idea I thought of. What if we had a plugin (custom coded I guess because idk that I've heard of one before) that affecting the amount of knockback a player takes based on the armor they wear, and it also affects the speed at which they can swim upwards out of water.
    Ie; if you were a Heavy and wore all diamond armor, knockback from Archers, people hitting you, etc. would be very minimum, like 1 block max from most non-knockback enchanted weapons. But the downside is if you went in water, you wouldn't sink faster, but you would just rise to the surface much slower.
    Similar, but not as much, if you were Soldier. All iron armor would deduct a lot of knockback, maybe 3 blocks max, but you could still swim a little bit faster to the surface than Heavy, but not as fast as lets say Ninja.

    Maybe you could code it where a type of armor has a % knockback deduction and a proportionate % rise speed deduction, and then all the armor pieces add together to a total % deduction to each factor.
    Ie;
    Armor type ---- % Knockback Deduction ---- % Rise Speed Deduction
    Diamond 80% kb deduction 50% rise speed deduction
    Iron 70% 40%
    Gold 55% 30%
    Chain 45% 18%
    Leather 20% 10%
    None vanilla vanilla

    Of course I'm sure coding team would come up with their own numbers for that but I tried to keep in mind the realistic aspect but also the class it would go with, and balance the two.

    Thanks for reading!

    Elf is very powerful, when you're very experienced with it. I don't think it needs a buff.

    What SoCool said, though I agree with the Pure buff. I don't like the Earth change though, because a large part of that spell's usefulness is as a lockdown or distance flagroom clear, which this version can't do.

    Oh I meant in addition to what it already does. Like you can shoot it long range or use it at melee

    Ah. I feel like that would be too strong, then. I like the general idea, but it becomes too good of a lockdown if it's instant IMO.

    Well it still costs an arrow. Maybe melee version takes 2 arrows?

    I dont think anything is wrong with Elf. I dont think it needs any of these changes. The reason elf only has 10 arrows at max and regens them slowly is to keep the elf kit from doing large plays like flying up to the top of the tower and rain down pure element shots. It would just be a bit much. ( The elf already have a sword as a constant weapon to?)

    If I were to change one thing about Elf it would be the Water and Earth element.
    I would change water like this.) Have it retain its original abilities / powers but also gives regen 1 for 8 seconds at max to all it effects. Elf loses its steak very quickly and it really sucks when theres no way to heal and you are birched on-top of a wall.(It would also make this element more useful)

    Earth.) Retain its original abilities but make them stronger. It really seems pointless to see the earth get slammed down on them and have it to next to nothing to them. If it actually stopped their movement completely that would be great.

    The one problem i have with this is that not all people know how to properly heal with an instant health pot. I think steak is better and leave the pots for chemist.
