Many people have been complaining about this, it's because of 1.8. The staff hope this to be fixed in War 2.0, all we can do is just wait now.

Going off what @MrWaffleman said, 1.7 had barely any lag. It's all the new 1.8 features that cause some servers to lag. And there is typically three to four non-lagging servers. So if you notice some are lagging, try hopping around to see which ones aren't that bad.

 

Well, it isn't like someone can just flip a switch that turns off the lag.. Also, there are different types of lag; server and player. Player lag only you can change, and server lag, just wait until someone fixes a connection problem.

Guys its only laging on the war servers 1 2 3 4 but on the 5 6 7. 8 there is NO lag. The only problem is that theres like 30 peaple on server 1 but None on 5 6 7 8

 

Nah, a lot of times War 2 & 1 aren't lagging.

Ikr. And they keep blaming it on 2.0, but the thing I don't understand is how it can go completely lagless for hours and then suddenly switch the lag around between the lobbies. Like how would an OS even do that? :/

 

this is another reason to that people leaves, on many other server in 1.8 there is no lag, but on mcwar admins dont care about fixing the problem, and suits it on Minecraft 1.8.

Its intresting how so many people trusts the admins just cuz they have an admin tag ingame. This lag is not caused by 1.8, and we were told it would be fixed in war 2.0 that should be out in late may, now its late june. Brawl isnt a company with neither quality or quanitity.

 

Maybe the. Brawl could downgrade War back to 1.7+ to help players not experience lag. But if Brawl does that, all the other servers would potentially be downgraded as well.

The lag isn't that major. Sure it's there but on some servers it's not game-breaking. And for those that are, just switch servers. Let everyone in chat know that a different war server isn't lagging. I've seen it happen and those players switch and are happier because other servers aren't lagging as badly as the previous one.

 

For example, Mineplex didn't get anymore lag with 1.8.
