GAY MARRIAGE LEGAL IN WHOLE NATION (United States)!

Homosexuality is presence in plenty of other species of animals. I'm not sure what you mean how it isn't natural, but it's not like someone can wake up and go "I want to be gay/lesbian/bisexual" if that's what you're thinking what makes it unnatural.

 

This is why the human race is overpopulating the Earth, and also being gay is actually a gene that you are born with.

No, the human race is overpopulating because people are having unprotected sex, not really because they are straight or gay.

 

Strong supporter of gay rights here, couple of my friends are, but lets take a step back here. Population grows as it is, and being homosexual/pansexual/bisexual or whatever it may be is not a gene. It is not something one can choose, but it's sure not a gene. Just relax guys, celebrate.

 

Does a person's sexuality really matter? We're all humans, just treat each other equally and use common sense. Not that hard.

That's good for you. Here in America, it was not yet legal and was a pretty major issue as most Americans wanted the law to be passed and or outlawed to allow such marriages to happen. It is now finally legalized in The US in which why we are all surprised. Americans were not exactly fond from the start about gay marriages but most can agree that it should be legalize. Don't matter who legalized the law first; it's still amazing that the US decided to finally legalize such marriages..

To be honest, I don't care if you're LGBT+ or not, no one should be opposed to gay marriage. Idc at all if you wouldn't do it yourself, but denying people their basic rights because of what you believe is so dumb.
Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean you shouldn't stop others from eating junk food.
Just because you're not gay yourself doesn't mean you should be opposed to gay rights.
If you say the bible is the reason that LGBT+ relationships or unnatural then tbh you need a wake up call.

And this was just interesting. The 4 Supreme Court Justices that voted against legalizing it said that they weren't against it because of their personal view. They weren't homophobic themselves, but they were saying from the legal stand points that was presented in the Obergefell v. Hodges (the case that this ruling was on) didn't actually have merit.
So basically they were saying they weren't homophobic but they were just saying in this particular case the people wanting gay rights didn't actually 'deserve' it from a legal view (just saying what they're saying) and that the nation wide legality of gay rights might've been voted for 9/0 in a different case that had more merit.

 

Yes. Alot of people can make a choice.
But. Still.. Yall can do what ever you want. What ever your mind tells you to do.

How tf do you know the first humans weren't gay? I'm pretty sure you weren't alive then. Homosexuality is entirely normal too, it is just not as common. You imply that there were only 2 people to start out, a man and a female, that produced the human race. According to evolution, that isn't true at all. Please make some rational argument before you tell people why homosexuality isn't normal/acceptable. Also, who are you to tell other's how to live their lives, and changes things they can't even control?

Sorry for the flame, but I don't understand why people try to restrict others' rights because they share different viewpoints.

 

My opinion on same-sex marriage is like alot of others, I don't really mind it and I'm not against it.

 

Technically, in order for the reproduction process to occur enough to sustain a large population, the first humans would have had to have been heterosexual (or at least bi) by a large majority.

Funny thing is, we're not the first humans, so that entire argument is meaningless anyways.
