    Elf buffs;
So there's like no Elf's in any match, maybe at the max I see 2 (other than me) in the whole round total.

I think the reason people don't use it is its learning curve is too high. Although it can be pretty decent once you get the hang of it, even still it's probably much more easier to go Mage or Archer (which are basically the parents of Elf).

    So...
    The Problem
    • Learning curve is too high/class can be good but takes time to learn
    • Most people would just choose Archer or Mage
    Solution(s)
I think that its concept is great, but I think we need to make the elements more useful so the player actually feels like they're able to do something.
Many of my suggestions would give the Elf the much more rounded out feel where it can fulfill multiple rolls, such as melee rogue type class (get in and out quickly with flying but deals decent amount of melee damage) of course ranged damage, and then support (giving Water and Wind elements buffing characteristics to allies, but not to the Elf themself, so it's not more of a buff, just giving more purpose). This would make more players want to play Elf over Mage and Archer.

    Shield
    • In addition to block arrows, the shield should knock-back enemies with each pulse (like a forcefield type thing)
    • Give a sound effect when it reflects a projectile, sometimes I'm facing a direction and I'm reflecting arrows from an enemy behind me but I don't even know, it'd just be cool just a little sound to be played as a headsup.
    Pure Element
    • Actually I think this is pretty good as it is. I personally choose Elf over Archer because of this. Archer can instakill but only from 20+ blocks. This allows Elf to two shot most classes at any range (the first shot deals probably 3-4 hearts against most classes, then the 6 hearts true damage to finish it is basically a two hit (especially since most people aren't at full health anyways)) but just effect wise...
    • When you land the first shot it makes one type of sound, and when you land the second shot (that then will do 6 hearts true damage), it plays a different type of sound, just for the Elf's knowledge if you fired into a big tangle of players and couldn't see the effects.
    Earth Element
    • Add a feature where left click this bow makes the same earth-slam ability it has where the arrow lands, appear right ontop of you instead but it costs 2 arrows instead of just 1. This would add to the melee diversity
    • Just for cosmetic purposes, maybe have it where the 5x5 earth-slam thing is actually made out of the blocks below it. Ie instead of always being a dirt circle, if it's ontop of a castle, it slams cobble blocks instead
    Wind Element
    • The flying ability is pretty balanced as it is, but...
    • Give the Wind Element a use as a projectile, just like the other elements
    • When it/if hits an enemy it deals less damage than a normal arrow, but launches them up 5-6 blocks (1-2 hearts of fall damage)
    • When it/if hits an ally, it gives that ally Speed I for 6 seconds. But this wouldn't affect the Elf, only the ally hit
    • Has an arrow trail of smoke particles/just needs an arrow trail (it looks weird without one lol)
    Water Element
    • The extinguishing feature is pretty nice and life saving, but also it could be even more useful if...
    • In addition to the extinguishing feature, if the arrow hits an ally, it gives that ally Regen II and Resistance I for 5 seconds (about 3 hearts regened). But this wouldn't affect the Elf, only the ally hit
    Instakill sound reinstatement
In McPvP, whenever you instakilled someone (so Archer headshots, Pyro fire+ax, Assassin's assassinate, I think that's it ???), it played a very loud armor/tool breaking sound. I liked it a lot, not only for effect but it was informative (ie if I see an arrow fly and it instakills the person next to me, I know that Archer's in headshot range, and that my ally wasn't just low on health).

    Thanks!

The Shield is fine as is. It is designed to defend against projectiles and ranged attacks, and it does that fine. You shoudn't be able to defend against every at once.

The different sound for the second is a great idea, maybe a higher pitched ding would be good. (Also, archer is a 30 block headshot).

The Earth Element is called the Earth Element for a reason, it's dirt. I don't think it would be that effective used as melee. Anyway, elf is meant to be a ranged class.

Wind Element already knocks back enemies when shot, lol...

The Water Element gives Resistance when shot at full charge to allies the in the radius.

It knocks them back literally I think 1 block and does no damage.

And oh I didn't know that @the WE Resistance

And yeah I know it's meant to be mostly ranged, and this still would keep it that way, but many players don't play it as is and I think it needs buffed but not drastically, just given more purposes so it has a bigger incentive to be played.

It's designed to be a support class. It's not supposed to be powerful, it needs other people to help it.

imo tbh ngl elf is sorta useless in the first place outside of a few extremely specific environments and i think thats the reason that you dont see many ppl using it. the sound effects are a good idea but buffing the different elements in such a way dont particularly make them more effective; they just make them effective in a different way. i also dont particularly see how the buffs would make a difference if had trouble using elf in the first place because of the learning curve. the sound effects are a hella kewl idea but i think i gotta disagree with the rest of it D:
