1] Creepers originated from pigs.
As we know the pig model is a long rectangle with a cube attached to one end, and 4 smaller rectangles protruding from the bottom, right? Now imagine if you're programming this model, and you accidentally mixed up the values for length and height. You end up with something similar to the creeper model.
