    What to expect when donating.

    Ray gun (and or Demolisher)


    This gun is best for mainly Infection, with it's "instant hit" shots, you're living the dream if you buy the gun (though keep in mind the gun MAY be getting nerfed in WAR2.0.)

    For now though, it would be my first pick when donating for the first time.

    Why is it best to get Ray-Gun for my donation?

    Answer: The Ray-gun is the best gun to experience in war (for the donation section)
    It's a instant kill for zombies (excluding the root). and does decent damage on TDM, CTF, FFA.
    There are PLENTY more reasons why you should get the ray gun first but I only named a few.


    PROS: It's a "One-Shot Kill" for infect.

    Decent sized clip.

    Fastest shot in the game.

    Unlimited range.

    Very good zoom.

    This Gun does splash damage!


    CONS: It's not the best gun for TDM, CTF, FFA, unless you're playing Aftermath TDM or CTF (whatever floats your boat)

    Though I said decent sized clip above, without scavenger, you will NOT get more than a 16 KS on Infection.

    When being attacked by big crowds of zombies (like minimum 25), and you have no backup, when you reload, you most probably will get killed.

    Long reload time.



    Overall, the Ray gun is insane. I recommend getting it, though if you're a assault rifle type person, or looking for a small challenge, consider buying the Mini-gun, note I'm not saying the Minigun is bad for Infect, because it's not. It's very good for maps like Grind_Inf.

    I would say never take ray into other gamemodes than infected if you want good scores because other non-donator weapons are better.
    You forgot to say ray does splash dmg btw.
    Otherwise good job.

    zap has a obsession with my cbow ._. He will comment something on this post

    It'd be a good idea to include the exact clip size for normal players as well as those with donor ranks. Otherwise, great guide!

    No Scav: 16 shots. 2 clips each w/ 8 bullets.

    I believe VIP is 20 shots. 3 clips each w/ 8 bullets, exept 1/3, which has 4 shots.

    MVP: 24 shots. 4 clips each w/ 8 bullets.

    Nice guide. I think calling out MVP/VIP vs regular players ammo is a good call out.
