Hey guys...
I really didn't think it would come to this, my plan was to stay with Brawl until school starts in two months, but I'm afraid I must give up my moderator position for good this time. There were several contributing factors with this, and I gotta say, it's gonna be hard to stay away.

Reasons:
1. Moderating, simply isn't fun for me anymore. I spend way more time playing games than I do moderating them, it's just such a hassle to spend 2 minutes getting a good video of a hacker, banning him, and then spend 10 minutes uploading and then have to do this several times a day, I realize why this sort of system is in place, I get the reasons why Mods have to record and upload every ban they make, but, it's not something I see myself doing in the long run.
2. In case you don't know, moderators aren't payed for what they do, when I was younger, I understood this a lot better, and for the longest time, it didn't matter, but, at this point in time, I'm really starting my life believe it or not, my Dad came into my room the other night and said "Are you going to do anything else with your summer besides be on that computer all the time" and I realized he was right. So far this month, I have 40 hours in-game, and those are hours of my life I'll never get back, and I'm not even having fun 30 of the 40 hours. What's the point? I had 66 days of in-game time on MCPVP, and I'll never regret a single one of those hours, I enjoyed them a lot, and I don't see myself having the same thoughts in the future.
3. School. This reason kinda ties in above with number two, I have other things I could be doing that make a greater impact on my life.

I'm not going to give anyone a blame game, Brawl has different systems than MCPVP, so I fully expect things to be different, but I just don't agree with everything. I've been trying for weeks to get things somewhat better, such as pestering Admins to add slack, and some other stuff that I'm not sure if I should really talk about.

My goal for this summer, was to set HG up as best as I can, and I think I've done that to the best of my ability, any further time I spend here, will be the same ideas, and such, I know Brawl has a lot on it's plate... perhaps to much on it's plate, and the only way changes can really get done, is if the other 11 projects are finished as well.

Short and sweet, I'm not blaming anyone or anything, it's simply that I've been dedicating to much time to this, and now that I've given most of my ideas and suggestions, all I can really do, is wait, and I don't have said time to do so.

MCPVP and Brawl have given me a great run, but, it's time I leave here. You'll probably see me in HG every once in awhile [soup only] and probably CTF and Build if I wanted some nostalgia, but it's finally time for me to sign-off permanently as a staff member on either server. I've met a lot of great people during my time here, I've also faced challenges with people (wink), and overall it's been a good learning experience, but I've reached a point in my life, where I need to be using my experience, not growing it somewhere that doesn't matter in 10 years.

 

I agree with that paragraph, the requirements aren't necessarily impossible, and if I had truly wanted to, I would've probably kept going on Brawl for two more months, but, I no longer feel like it's a volunteer position, ya know? It just makes it feel a lot more like a job, when there's reviews you have to pass, and when your literally graded on your activity, and it's even more of a pain to do, when I'm not having fun with what I'm doing. I'm not the type of person that only goes halfway for something, for me, I either dedicate all or most of my time to a project, or none. I'm not saying I haven't learned skills that might be important for me later in life, in fact, I even said in my post that I've learned a lot from being apart of these communities [MCPVP and Brawl], but now I want to use these experiences with things that actually matter in my future.
