    The knight kit is a great kit for defending your flag, or attacking in groups, as this kit will provide your sword with an extra sharpness level for each player nearby in a 10 x 10 x 10 radius, and will give you an extra strength level for every 5 players nearby in the same radius. The maximum you can have is 10 players that give you buffs (Sharpness 10, Strength 2). Also when you shield, you get resistance 4, slowness 4, and weakness 4.

    Hello Outrunner.

    I did not like your idea for several reasons. First, this class gains power from team-mates it would basically destroy everything in team-fights, which severely counters other classes and further unbalances the game. CTF has enough problems with that in regards to Chemist.
    Another problem is the blocking because Resistance IV blocks 80% damage, which effectively makes this class as tanky as Heavy. Thus the Knight could basically sit and block damage while waiting for team-mates to help him out.
    I don't really see any reason to add this class to the game.

    Adding a new class is always an involved thing because there's so many mechanics that have to be fooled with in order for the class to work in the game environment. Next time you suggest a class always consider its impact on the game - and why it should be added. You specified that Knight is a great class for defending the flag or attacking in groups but that's not what I mean. CTF already has classes that can defend the flag, like Dwarf, or fight in teams like Chemist. What I like to do when I'm trying to come up with a good idea is to think of it like this: what role can this class fill? What can it add to the game that isn't already there and doesn't make the game even more unfair?

    This doesn't really fill a niche to begin with, as it does essentially the same role as dwarf, so there's really no need to add this. Additionally it does sound incredibly overpowered in a team fight, especially in the flagroom with multiple members of your team in defense. The idea of a knight is a good one, but this needs a total rework in order to both fill a niche and make it balanced before this is added! Thanks for trying though!
