So... it has been two years since they announced MC-War 2.0. In these two years they did not manage to develop a new gun server, which is far less complex than minigames of other servers like Hypixel (they in fact grew from 5 minigames, 2000 players on peek times to 28 minigames with 40k players on peek times in the same period of time). You compare the complexity of the war plug-in with the complexity of Hypixel's "Cops and Crims" like toasing bread and flying a passenger plane. Ohh, and the quality of MC-War compared to current standarts... well, you know.
BUT the interesting thing is that the ammount of donations Brawl recieves looks pretty solid to me, HOWEVER I do not see any quality minigames, lag free servers or HARDWORKING and LOYAL and NOT NOT-GIVING A **** ABOUT THE COMMUNITY developers. So the question arrises, where the **** did the money go?

I don't see how orange could add additons almost daily and fix problems and yet the current coders can't do anything because they say it's bad code.
Is it messy or something?

Maybe we should hit up orange with a request to fix the servers >:]

On top of that it's very messy.

 

Apparently there was a bug that chunks don't get unloaded even though nobody is in them. This bug has been patched now and we hope it will improve the performance on many of our servers including Mc-War because it was a global bug.

 

Good to know mcwar is getting less lag since I haven't played in forever.

 

I may actually come back to War now o.o
To be honest, as am perfectly happy with the current servers. I am ecstatic for the new release if it come but the one thing that I want is for Brawl to have a stable player base. Which comes from the current severs being fixed. Just War being "delaggified" should help some players return. I know I left for WarZ full time because of the lag, when I used to play both servers.

 

Are you happy because it is good or are you happy because you're staff?
No offense, but if you're trying to comment from a players' standpoint but your views are tainted by not wanting to piss off the staff, then nobody wants your opinion.

 

I'm happy because it's good. If I was demoted, then I would look at things the exact same way.

 

War is good?
Debatable.

 

In my opinion I do see bugs getting fixed and I can see how the developers sometimes cant keep up with the amount of bugs. I can also see how Phantas' mod (the war mod with textures) has progressed more than Mc-War its' self.

tbh brawl can really cut down on the mc party servers. 12 of them rly, maybe that will help with the lag. Next of all THE CLAN GLITCH. u get kicked from ur clan and the up server puts u in a different one. I have played war for a long time and I remember the good old days. You know guys where a zombie could kill someone and it was FAIR or compared to now when someone OP suicides and gets 400kills. I also remember when a new player could get a kill, where there would be no "pro's" because joeymast would "take care" of them. I also remember getting a 5 killstreak as a zombie and being able to shoot the bullets and it would work(yes it would kill the player you shot :V, yes I cleary remember so don't tell me some bull that u couldn't do that). you get my point and if you don't I smh.

Overall brawl is going quantity over quality and that's why brawl is screwed.

 

Just wanting to say that this post answers everything.

As for my opinion, I'm going in defense of the staff here as things do get postponed at times and it's definitely not easy to run as server at this size however I think we just need to wait altogether and hope for the best.

 

Funny thing is that another mod had to come in and fix him because he is wrong...
