Creative isn't outdated, nor is it nostalgic. Creative wouldn't have had to be replaced if Chap had decided not to buy the servers. The reason why its being replaced is because Build will attract more noobs who don't know how to build or use world edit.

 

Creative is outdated, you can't use 1.8 blocks, etc..
Why would you spend time to update such a server if you can just replace it with an updated server?

That's wrong, the main reason why they bought McBuild, was the system behind it.
It's not just a random build server, you can directly upload a map from the build server to a gamemode server, also you can easily fix map issues within a few seconds without uploading all the map datas etc.

And well some of these "noobs who don't know how to build" who have been playing on McBuild for a while, are actually better builders than most of Creative's current WePro's (;

 

This is very true. The best builders I've seen have come from McPvP/Build. WEPro isn't a hard rank to get, and basically if you apply, you've got AdvBuilder. AdvBuilder should be a rank where you are a very talented and experienced builder, not someone who can make a 20x20 pool that uses only quartz and water. There's no reason for Creative to stay, Build is perfectly fine. And free WorldEdit is always a plus.

 

Oh yes, most definitely every player from McPvP and Build is superior to any and all players from Brawl, in every way shape and form. One comment comes up about someone not wanting creative to go down and Build regulars flock to the scene instantly talking crap about the creative server and how it sucks sooo bad. I'm sick of it.

It doesn't matter, you are still talking crap about the servers and frankly, I'm sick of all the bullcrap circulating around this topic.

I tried to be nice around this topic but the people that are so full of themselves and build talking crap about creative players and the server is getting annoying.

I thought it would be nice to have creative replaced by a new server until I've seen how build players and such act. It's disgusting how rude you guys can be sometimes.

Go ahead, say something about how rude I'm being, about how I'm so mean. But from what i've seen, i have a right to be mean. I'm normally very nice and have a great temperament but i'm not going to put up with this anymore.

You say I'm talking bad about Creative, but look at you, you're talking bad about Build. Don't contradict yourself bud. The merge is going to happen and most if not all of the higher up staff members agree with the merge.

 

i dont get it. so, creative has been around for long time now, and mcbuild is brand new, infact, its still in beta. so wat happens is, theres a 1 yr old server, and they make a new brand new server, and as soon as they make it, theres all these threads about a brand new server REPLACING a 1 yr old server! like, if u dont think this is bad enough, all the builds from creative, the popular server thats been around for about a year, GETTING WIPED!!! ALL THE HARD-EARNED RANKS GOING!
no way, i think both servers should stay and both servers stay individual.

 

Seriously? Creative has been going for longer. And also.. I'm WEpro.. Yes. But doesn't mean I get fussy about losing my rank. Time makes up for everything. And plus. I'm sure build will be a lot more popular once it's out of beta. But I still like the fact of keeping both of the servers.. It just costs more money. Which isn't good for them.

 

The Creative ranks aren't hard to get at all, therefore they're not really hard-earned. Basically if you apply for AdvBuilder, you get it. Build has free WorldEdit, so the ranks aren't really gone and if you were Builder or AdvBuilder it's a big plus. There's no reason not to merge. Build has 512x512 block maps, too.

 

McBuild is a "brand new" server? Haha. McBuild exists since 2012.
