    I just think it would be really bad for chat if there was, like, 4 colors as tags.

    A bit, crazy ?
    My preference is simple.
    Nothing fancy
    Stuff easy to read
    And not all colormatic
    Just my opinion

    Sorry, misread your post. Yes, the colors would be extreme, but a simple text edit would be fine.
