    It will improve, there are a bunch new characters, SAO 3 extremely focuses on Kirito, there are some Asuna here and there, but the whole story is about Kirito and his friend Eugeo adventures, the character development is really good and it's a pretty touching story TBH. It will have more blood tho >: D. And it gets more serious compared to the other Seasons... the whole season is called Project Alicization... it's a basically a scientific project to make the real world into a game, the Virtual Reality MMO game Kirito is stuck in (because he's in a coma, there's lots to explain but I don't really feel like explaining it) is really realistic and the pain is real as well... so that kind of sucks when he gets sliced with a sword. Half the book was kind of confusing for me, once the anime comes out... a ton of stuff will be more clear :stuck_out_tongue:.

    *gasp* spoilers! I haven't even watched season 2 yet (cause it's not on Netflix *grumble grumble*). Anyway I do know that Kirito is trapped in some game but beyond that I don't know much beyond Season 1.

    He's not trapped in a game... he's technically working for the government. You'll figure that out in first episode.

    Wish Season 2 was on Netflix. I've heard people say it's not that good but I still need to watch it, I can't just skip it.

    Yea, Season 2 is worse than Season 1, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad though. But the second part of Season 2 is pretty cool I guess...

    Video games is the primary interest of many teenagers, and when they mix in Virtual Reality, how it looks in the future, yeah, that's what I believe. Virtual Reality glasses gets a lot of attention in itself..
    That probably doesn't explain that the first version of the book was written in 2001, though.

    Just found out a spoiler ^.^

    Asuna and everyone else comes into Project Alicization to help Kirito fight in the Underworld :V.

    Also Volume 16 is out YUSS, now I need to wait for teh translationz, but still... YUSS.

    Luk at me profile pic... (Left: Kirito Right: Eugeo) ALICIZATION HYPE. Sword Art Online took a slight twist into the Dark Fantasy genre :V, so expect lots of blood in SAO 3 xD.

    I magically finished the elf stuff in S1, but I just couldn't finish S2.
    One of the worst series I've seen so far.
    Like, there are so many series that are better deserving of a second/third season.
    But hey, I don't pay, so I've got no say.
