Reasons to Quit CTF/Stay on CTF

    I'll start off with reasons why I quit ctf
    1. Every bug fix done just introduces more bugs
    2. 3/4 of the CTF staff is inactive or are quitting. Let me just recount everyone who quit in the past months
    Saixos, Coasted, Hana, Snowtucs, Dieb and Billhelm. 6 mods. Sure we have more mods but the amount of mods isnt sufficient with the rate of resignation
    3. Teams have little of a chance to get back
    4. Few people are playing with the aim to capture/recover/defend the flag. A lot of attack on sight, and unfortunately done even by regulars. A lot of regulars


    Those are my reasons why you should quit ctf. Now here are my reasons why you should stay on ctf
    1. Wave X
    2. Autobans are back (sort of)
    3. Less hackers cause Autobans
    4. New staff (gratz Brendoom)
    5. New players
    6. More prone to update (probably)

    Choose from those reasons whether its worth quitting or not.

    This. if i didnt make new friends at brawl then i never would've stayed after I returned ... The randies reallyyyy get on my nerves sometimes; the autobans are actually terribly glitchy rn; and tbh; the fact that teams(matches) wont come back for a long while is really discouraging to keep playing ctf these days :/

    I'm just waiting till it's out of Beta, then finally I can start improving my stats and get to 1,000 games ^.^ . Then from there I can join a good team :stuck_out_tongue:. And get into team battles in which I never knew how they worked, well... dreams... dreams...

    Are stats coming back? I hope so, stats were the original reason why I started, now ctf is more of a "for-fun" game, which I liked at first, but it's getting old.

    Same, it's gotten boring for me considering it's not even that competitive anymore. Stats will be released when CTF is out of beta, also that will finally be the start of team battles, Beta has taken a long time to come out, and it still hasn't came out, I feel like lots of people are losing hope now...

    Can I argue against those points? Thanks. (Nothing personal, I'm just arguing against the points and not you.)

    1. It's in beta.
    2. Most of them were past staff members on mcpvp and they're not staff on brawl. The reason they quit is because of hclewk. I think.
    3. They might come back. Might.
    4. Well your're not going to let 'em pass you easily without a fight.
    I know it's CTF or Capture The Flag but it's fun to teleport the entire team to the enemy spawn.

    I can vouch, I was the sentence.

    I am going to be quitting again very soon. Tomorrow, in fact.

    Add to your list of reasons to quit: real life obligations.

    Also, @Hanatamago_San officially quit? Good for her, although she mentioned it was going to be tomorrow. Huh.
