How to Play Mc-War on XBox Controller

Hey guys, in this guide I will be explaining step by step how to connect your xbox controller to your pc to play Mc-War! This guide can also be used to play any other Brawl game as well, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Step 1: Connecting Your Controller
If you have a wired controller, you can just download the required software for it here: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows and simply plug it into your PC.

If you are unfortunate and have a wireless controller, you will need to purchase a wireless adapter.

Step 2: Minecontroller
For many steam games, the controller is all good and dandy to use. However, for minecraft you will need 3rd party software in order to use your controller to play minecraft.

where it says "Installation".

It should say "download.jnlp" as the file name. If it is just download or minecontrol, you must rename it to download.jnlp

After doing that, you must go into your control panel and go into "Programs". Click "Java" and there should be a tab called "Security". Set it to high and then click the button that says "Edit Site List". There you must add
http://update.joshjcarrier.com/ to your site list.

Then you must right click your "download.jnlp" file and launch it.

Step 3: Configuring
Well, if you have made it this far, it is time to configure your controls. Every button is assigned to something by default. If you are happy with the way it looks, great! If you would like to make it more "cod" style, then you can change which buttons are assigned to which command. (Example: binding x to q (reload)).

After you are happy with your configurations, DO NOT CLOSE MINECONTROLLER!!! Leave it on while you play minecraft or it WILL NOT WORK!!!
