CTF Wave X: Icey Trio Feedback

    Hey guys, since Wave X was very recently set out,

    If you have played on any of my maps in rotation... I'm looking for some constructive feedback.

    Yes my maps are Ice/Snow themed, and I intend on keeping it that way.
    Soul's flag room will be updated in the near future (roughly a day if not sooner.) I removed the walls to the left and right of flag, and replaced the sponges with a set of stairs.

    I'm looking for feedback mostly on Subzero and Divergent Strike. I am only fixing major problems (like the flag room on soul) - I will not fix it if someone says "this tree at x,y,z looks funny"

    Please also try to be nice when giving feed back, I had a hellacious outcome when soul was first played in rotation today. I experienced the same cancer everyone else did ;P However, I was not there to experience what Subzero or Divergent was like.

    please just replace the ice with any other block because ice is an incredibly good way to ruin gameplay

    I'm considering making Snowblock paths on Soul, but I feel like the ice keeps it all in unity.

    I may just make the map Snowblocks, and the cliffs Hardened Ice... It should only change the pace people move. Nothing else, ill have to check with a mod first.

    Incredibly soldier OP, make the chasm less deep
    Flagroom needs to be removed and put somewhere ale, ridiculously close to spawn.
    Add more cover with ice spikes, very archer OP

    The ice on Soul HAS TO GO. If I were you, I would turn it into snow and just do small patches of ice. The ice gives speed classes a huge boost that they truly don't need and makes PvP a pain. I would also make the hills fairly shorter and add little patches of snow in the water so that getting to shore is easier.

    I also dislike the flag room on Divergent Strike as it feels way too enclosed for my liking.

    Subzero feels cluttered and I highly dislike that flag room too.

    Definitely agree on Soul, but I'll wait for some more feedback to consider changing the other two maps.

    No one has spawn protection by the time they get to flag room. Should be ok.

    I'll be working on the maps for the night, that is, if I get permission.
    Soul will be my priority.

    Someone help the spawn on subzero are switched and it's unplayable.

    I have yet to play on Subzero or Divergent. To my understanding, the map is fine. This obviously a bug of somesort.

    Well SubZero has a minor issue where one of the team spawns in the wrong spawn

    After the redo to Soul we did, I think the map trio is good to go once someone fixes that bug on Subzero. :smile:

    The Soul update will be live (Most likely) within 24 hours. I will not reveal what it looks like, because it's a surprise :smile:
