Idea CTF Problems and Stuff

Ideas!​

These ideas just popped into my head when I was playing CTF lately. So some of you guys will like it and some of you guys will love it.

Now you may be thinking right now: Where did Jon undersquare craft eleven got that font? Simple Answer: [.FONT=Comic Sans MS] It was fun to try a bit of super easy coding. @NomNuggetNom could appreciate it a bit.
Anyways, here are the problems currently cycling through the forums: Instakills, Instakill classes, elf and.... that's it.

But don't worry loyal readers, the title says CTF Problems and Stuff, so you'll be enjoying lot's of stuff by yours truly. hehehehe

The Scoreboard
- One of the most annoying parts is joining a game and you have no idea who won the last round. In the past, at the end of each round, the scoreboard said Red 0/3
Blue 0/3
Now, on the other hand, it just says 1/3 or the round number. So maybe instead of us waiting an extra minute and then teleported to the lobby we can use the old school style.
You might be typing under the comments section right now saying, "CTF is still in beta, dummy."
AND yes! I know. But from what I can see CTF is not in beta but in donut right now.

Ninja Invisibility
- Ninjas likes to target oblivious archers that are standing still shooting arrows. And then they crit them 3 times to kill em'. They have this kind of relationship sorta like the engineer and spy on tf2.
So here's a fun idea to counter ninja's invisibility. If an archer successfully hits a ninja with an arrow. The ninja appears temporarily (changes into silly powder) for about __ seconds. You can also use spectral arrows in the 1.9 update.

The Timer
- It's very slightly annoying to have the timer run an extra 1 minute., you know. Slightly.

But this should be fixed soon.

Instakill Classes and Instakills
- I don't care.

Elf
- The class has a lot of controversy around it. Saying it's too weak and too op. But the main problem, currently, with elf is the fly ability. Elf can easily escape from battles and just as easily waltz across the map without a care in the world. So they're pretty much immune to almost anything. An annoying pot-spamming chemist comes by? Fly easily past him. An archer/mage shooting arrows at you? Block your sword and even get a kill. Pyro got you aflamed? Use your water spell.
SO what's the solution you're proposing Jonny? I don't know. I'm just raising questionable ideas.










Anyways, I'm sure most problems will be fixed in the near future. Maybe even today when I post it.
