    Unless you get noticed by so many people, that's why people don't like tryhards. They simply are very annoying and can most of the time ruin your experience of talking about a certain topic.

    Well you got those first 6 words correct! Don't really know why we need to spot a try hard but o suppose it could come in handy for.... Well, something. Random posts are where all the fresh ideas are created too. Just one question, is this spotting a try hard in game or in the forums...?

    Don't make fun of someone who is trying hard. You're basically making fun of them for trying in playing something, that doesn't seem right, does it? Exactly. When they go further than you in any category because they're a 'tryhard,' who is laughing now?

    Because they go forward in the wrong way, they think they are going to achieve something great and are working for something (mostly for a bad intention) so hard that they completely ignore the common ethics. It gets annoying to the surrounding people when someone is trying hard to achieve something, but achieving it in the total wrong way, if you seriously (*facepalm*) want more post-count in order to get moderator, AT LEAST make your posts be worth it, and make sure it isn't unethical and disturbing to the people around you. They won't really get further if this happens, they will only be limiting themselves on what they could actually achieve by posting correctly.

    They're only doing this because they're TRYING to get something they want. They're working hard for it. Leave them alone on what they want to do.

    If they're trying hard for something, then they should learn how to get to that position. Let's say someone very immature wishes to be a moderator, he continues being very immature and still tries to get moderator. He's not going to get very far if he continues his action, the only way to stop him is to make realize what he's doing is unethical, whether it be hard, or easy. That's wrong is you just leave them be, especially when they're going for a rank, and on top of that we know that he's not going to get very far, not doing anything about it just makes us self-centered and not caring of other people. Some people may tell them about it harshly like I said, but you could always tell that guy "Hey, that's not how you do it" in a nice way. Plus if they're working hard, then that means they're willing to change, if not, then fine, leave them be, because they aren't deserving of achieving that goal if they are not truly willing to go all out on it. There's a difference between being a tryhard and being determined.

    Sorry to step on everyone's Anime dolls by re-entering the conversation.

    If you want one piece of advice to follow I would recommend following "the Golden Rule."

    You must not know the definitions of the words "try" and "determined."

    try
    trī/
    verb
    gerund or present participle: trying
    1
    .
    make an attempt or effort to do something.
    "he tried to regain his breath"
    synonyms: attempt, endeavor, venture, make an effort, exert oneself, strive, do one's best, do one's utmost, move heaven and earth;More
    undertake, aim, take it upon oneself;
    informalhave a go, give it one's best shot, bend over backwards, bust a gut, do one's damnedest, pull out all the stops, go all out, knock oneself out;
    formalessay
    "try to help him"
    • attempt to achieve or attain.
      "they decided to try for another baby"
    • use, test, or do (something new or different) in order to see if it is suitable, effective, or pleasant.
      "everyone wanted to know if I'd tried jellied eel"
      synonyms: test, put to the test, sample, taste, inspect, investigate, examine, appraise, evaluate, assess;More
      informalcheck out, give something a whirl, test drive
      "try it and see what you think"

      assess, evaluate
      "they volunteered to try out the new system"
    • North American
      compete or audition in order to join (a team) or be given (a position).
      "she tried out for the team"
    • go to (a place) or attempt to contact (someone), typically in order to obtain something.
      "I've tried the apartment, but the number is busy"
    • push or pull (a door or window) to determine whether it is locked.
      "I tried the doors, but they were locked"
    • make severe demands on (a person or a quality, typically patience).
      "Mary tried everyone's patience to the limit"
      synonyms: tax, strain, test, stretch, sap, drain, exhaust, wear out
      "Mary tried everyone's patience"

    de·ter·mined
    dəˈtərmənd/
    adjective
    adjective: determined
    having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.
    "Alice was determined to be heard"
    synonyms: intent on, bent on, set on, insistent on, resolved to, firm about, committed to;More
    single-minded about, obsessive about
    "he was determined to have his way"
    processing or displaying resolve.
    "Helen was a determined little girl"

    stubborn, dogged, obstinate, inflexible, intransigent, unyielding, immovable, rock-ribbed;
    formalpertinacious
    "a very determined man"

    Someone trying hard to get something and someone doing something wrong are completely different. They're putting an effort in to obtain something they want and you're calling them out for it saying that what they're doing is 'wrong,' shame on you.
