Give back negative ratings!

The only thing I truly agree with here is -

No matter how many of these threads are made and no matter how much support you get, Brawl staff are still going to refuse to re-implement them simply because they rarely seem to change their mind and admit to the player base that their wrong. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes a bad thing, but it is a bad thing if you support negative ratings.

There's no point in bringing it up. Even if Brawl staff do change their mind, adding some new ratings to the forums isn't really going to change much. The forums need to be improved and I think negative ratings will help improve this, but no-where near enough. The effort it'd take to make sure they d not get abused isn't worth it right now; there's 2 gamemodes still in beta and another which is still unbalanced and isn't in the best of states, and player counts are lowering day by day and unless War 2.0 hurries up, it'll never come out, or at least not to a large playerbase. All focus should be put on getting HG and Build out of beta, fixing CTF (at last) and finishing the upcoming projects that have been promised for years.

I like the idea of negative ratings, as they work exactly the same as the positive ratings. However, people will abuse them, which is why we can't have nice things such as this. There's no point in wasting time to enforce rules to do with negative ratings when more effort could be put towards doing what Brawl will need to do if they want to live past 2016.

That being said, staff are wasting their time warning people for "abusing" positive ratings, so is they wasted their time warning people for abusing negative ratings it wouldn't make much of a difference.
