    Whilst it seems more fair, it would only be for five games, enough to capture their interest.
    I also think that it is a very good idea to try and capture as much of the influx of new players from the new film (when it comes out) as possible, to ensure the Hardcore Games' continued growth :smile:

    Even if this resistance is effective, this would be extremely bad for new players. They would learn to play with the resistance and essentially rely on it, so once it's removed, they'll be flailing around without their life support, and will promptly quit due to the sudden wall of difficulty they're hit with.

    They wouldn't get used to resistance over 5 games. It'd be surprising if they even know how to soup after 5 games.

    There used to be some regulars who've since quit because of Brawl who didn't learn how to soup until their 600th game or so.

    Exactly, five games is a very short amount of time to base a habit on :smile:

    It would be used as more of a way to get players interested in the game without having them get stomped their first few games by really good players.
