Idea Assassin replacement

    Thief
    Armor:

    Class Changes:

    • Redstone is renamed to "Steal"
    • Stealing does no actual damage.
    • When Steal is activated the Thief becomes vulnerable
    • All players who are hit by the Thief while stealing lose all steak or healing items (Chemists lose all their Instant Health Pots, Mages lose their Healing Spell, Ninjas lose their redstone, and Dwarves lose all their levels.)
    • Can instantly destroy turrets by "stealing" core parts
    • Stealing can be blocked
    • Succesfully stealing gives the Thief a short burst of invulnerability (Just enough to run away with since the player/players weren't killed)
    • Cannot pick up the flag while Invulnerable/Cannot become invulnerable while holding the flag.
    • Gains 1 steak and for every successful steal without a cap
    Gameplay Changes:
    • Assassin is switched from instant killing to a roundabout way of dealing at least 24 true damage which in standard cases is 2 hearts more than an "instantkill". (In Mages case potentially infinite true damage)
    • "Loss in damage" is consolidated with survivability
    • Gains a snowball health pool that encourages staying alive rather than re-spawning after assassinating.
    • Can attempt to capture once large amounts of steak have been collected.

    You let dwarf poison your mind into thinking that anything that has progression systems are inherently bad.
    The difference between dwarf and this, is the reward and the risk involved. The risk involved counteracts the reward.
    Dwarf:
    • Risks nothing by camping at its base as hard as it can
    • Rewarded with extra damage
    Thief:
    • Risks being insta killed every time it uses steal
    • Rewarded with extra steak
    I think you should take the time and read over what I posted, and imagine it being implemented, rather than jumping to conclusions.

    YES! I got 3 64 stacks of steak! But I want a little more, let me take some from him.. Wait, I got 1-shot.. No wait, my steak.. -Rage Quits and never comes back-

    The fact that it can build up a massive healthpool over time makes it impossible to kill once snowballed unless you play as pyro, assassin, or archer, and we all know pyro is getting reworked soon(TM), so the snowballing breaks the class. And this is gonna replace assassin so... No.

    192 killstreak with assassin... Yeah ok. That totally happens all the time.
    I do see that losing progress could be frustrating to some people, but this is still a high risk high reward kit. Progress is going to be reset a lot.
    No... there is so much wrong with your argument I don't even know where to begin. So I'm just going to fix all of your statements to make them actually true.
    Yeah I had a little fun with that, but your argument was based off unrealistic exaggerations anyway, so I'm sure you had fun too.

    I personally like this idea, its a good way to stop pesky chemists and Medics from bumrushing the flag and having their armor break before they die. (Yes that happens) But maybe you could set a cap to the amount of steaks you can get. Like 10 or so. And this should be a stand alone class, because its too good to be waisted, yet assassin is such a powerful and useful asset that I'd hate to see it go.
