    Medic is one of the most fun classes to play no doubt, but actually has a lot of problems that no one has deemed really necessary. From reading countless of medic reworks before, I'll mix and mash up some of their greatest suggestions into this one to try make a more better to play medic

    I'll straight out list the issues I see with medic
    -Tankiness
    -6 steak
    -Autoheal countering flag poison
    -Takes a while for noobs to learn that hitting twice restores all your items (Probably biggest complaint)

    Now, here are my fixes towards medic and improving it for support gameplay with reason
    -Give Medic one or two steak less, a slightly faster autoheal to counter that (maybe even permanent regeneration I or II)
    My reason for this is to counter Medic teaming. It is difficult enough to try recover from a medic solo if they have a lot of support, and difficult more if their support is another medic. They are immune to fire, They can block 24/7 and practically the only real way to kill them is by a group of buffed ninjas or by an archer if it isnt in a room

    - Increase cooldown to heal fellow medics by 5 seconds (Therefore 20 seconds). Reduce Cooldown to heal other classes by 5 seconds (changeable or can stay as it is)
    When you think of it, the cooldown for medic healing and restoring items is really made to counter medic teaming, as two medics can supply an infinite amount of steak. Other teammates- it doesn't matter. If the medic is being pressured the other class will die if its support is taken

    -
    When healing players, A players health status displays 99% instead of 100% to show that health is full, but items are not.
    This will inspire noobs to hit their teammates to 100%. If that doesn't work, a notifying message could be added for the noob medic for his first 10-50 games "Hit your teammate once more so they reach 100%!"

    - When standing next to a medic as far as a 3-5 block radius, the medic will give you temporarily regeneration I and resistance I (buffs can be changed/one of the two removed)
    This could finally make solo capping a thing of the past and bring ctf into more teamwork. These buffs are immediately gone as soon as walking away from the radius

    When holding the flag as Medic, you are debuffed by receiving Weakness I
    This is once more to counter Medic's tankiness whilst holding the flag. It will be more easier to recover from medic, but will still be hard given that if it has support in a 5x5/3x3 radius, they will have regen I and resistance I

    -
    When healing a fellow teammate (including fellow medics), they will lose the buffs from Medic's Aura for 5 seconds after being healed to full health
    This is to prevent Medic's Aura above to become OP

    Above are currently all the buffs and debuffs I would give to making Medic closer to balanced, more of a support class than a capping class yet still possible to cap with, improving teamplay and to promote capping with teamwork. State anything you would add/change from the suggestions above and kindly give your opinion :smile:

    Granted, medic is in no great need of a rework, but keep in mind all free classes aren't really interesting

    People don't understand that you hit to heal very often though... other than that I'm iffy on some of this but overall it's good.

    Most medics i encounter that heal you dont know that you need to hit again to restore their items, so it would pretty much make them question why you aren't at 100%

    I like it, I like the 99% deal that seems like a really good idea tbh

    I really like the aspect of the 99%. I, like everyone else, gets frustrated when a medic doesn't restore my items.

    I only like the 99% idea. Something better would be to just have old medic's healing back.

    This is a really great idea, but I don't really think medic needs a rework atm :/

    A proposal is synonymous with a suggestion: an idea, put forward to others. The proposal you're thinking of is a marriage proposal and it's named so because you propose, "put forward", the marriage, and your partner can either accept or reject it.

    The reason that medic has the 15 second cool down is to prevent infinite medic teaming. That used to be a problem.

    IDK if that's a good idea either: medic on medic healing has a place. Also, medics could infinitely heal the carrier every second so recovery was nearly impossible.
