    Remember when all the CTF ers played factions together? Lets do that again! (post in coments to get rules changed)

    Rules: (red are strict, green is optional)
    Try to stay neutral to players with weaker armor than you (unless they attack first)

    Defend your base and your fac. Even at the cost of your life if necessary.

    Don't quit and kill your friends after you join your fac! Its mean!

    You may join other facs if you want... Just stay loyal

    Don't spawnkill

    Defend your leader at all costs!

    Don't flame or rage or insult players. (ur kicked from fac if this happens)

    No haxing or spamming

    Note a leader can only be leader for 55 logins and after that you need to stop being leader. (people can vote for one)

    Other (helpful tips for your facs survival):
    If you come in peace only bring 1 or 2 ppl with you.

    If there are more then 3 ppl in a patrol it is most likely a raiding party.

    If theres over 8 players and the leader is present it is a war.

    Use the other facs most used attack strat against them.

    If you are planning on uniting 2 facs. Don't cry if it goes wrong.

    Don't show weakness.
    Maintain a good border defence (with patrols)

    Factions:
    all ctf teams get their own team

    Also you can do allies and faction wars and even get some enemies (worst to)

    ip: pending

    Sounds like fun... How would factions be made though? Would ctf teams have their own factions? Or would it be like a random fantasy draft of ctf players?

    A few questions, however I like the idea :smile:. First of all, we need a server most people agree on, which one will that be? Second, who will play the factions and how often? Third, who will make the factions and should we do something special with them (Faction wars, alliances and worst enemies,...?)?
    Work some of those questions out and I think more people would be in for this :smile:

    Just sayin if you're going to have 'strict' rules then everyone should have to follow them rather than 'try' to follow them. For example, flaming and raging should have some kind of punishment (like getting kicked out of a faction or getting muted) attached to it as should spawn-killing and team-killing. I mean, if following those rules is even remotely optional then that not only encourages anarchy but it makes them pretty pointless to begin with.

    Also funnily enough I didn't see anything in the rules that says you aren't allowed to hack or spam so you might want to add something about those in there :stuck_out_tongue:

    ^ Agreed. Faction wars are always fun when there are enough people :grinning:

    Anyway I think this idea is really cool and I'd love to see it materialize in the future.

    Also, 'listen to your faction leader, his word is law' is kind of dictatorial and anti-fun. I recommend deleting that and making it more of a democracy.

    Agreed. What if the faction leader turns out to be a humongous asshole? Or (lord forbid) Donald Trump? Or your mom?!

    Well as most of CTF is a Constitutional Parlamentary Dictatorship of the 3rd Principle, it only makes sense that this would involve some sort of a Dictatorship :stuck_out_tongue:
