    I downloaded a ton of programs that I needed for school and my computer is now infected with a virus -_- GG school. Idk when I'll be back, but hopefully soon. I won't be able to be on ts and ingame of course, but I'll try to be active on the forums and on minechat (if I'm not kicked for flying :/). Cya later guys.

    Try to resetup your computer and try to get a Anti-Virus programm, that will propably help you to avoid problems like that.

    I would try that, but when I turn it on the screen just turns blue. Nothing else works :/ I think I may have to take it in somewhere. Thanks for the suggestion tho :smile:

    Rogers online protection will literally delete the viruses, although it may be a 3 hour process - Id suggest using it, and it's free.

    xD I wish I could. It's apparently my fault though for taking the risk to download something... Something that my school said was mandatory lol

    I'm with bell :V I would try something like that, but I can't really turn my computer on :/

    Yeah :/ nothing is working on my end. I think I'll just have to get it professionally fixed. Thanks for the suggestion though :smile:

    Seems like you have to prevent the boot up to stop and let the computer read the windows installation disk, if you have one. If you just let it read the installation disk (CD-ROM), then let it boot up, everything should start working again with a screen saying to reinstall windows and delete everything and blah blah blah. Hopefully that might help.

    What did you need to download for school that would give you a virus. Secondly, why would your school make you download something that would give you a virus.

    Idk, usually schools are mentally insane. If the virus is like a thing that makes minecraft etc unlaunchable then it's another corrupt school that goes all "HURR DURR MORE EDUCATION NO ENTERTAINMENT LOLOLOLOLOLLOLO" or if it's something else like adware that turns every link into pointless websites, talk to your parents either way because if you were instructed by your school to download something you didn't know would be a virus then your parents could confront them.

    I had to download Netbeans (a coding platform) and a few other Java programs. I honestly have no clue how I got the virus from this.

    I'm in grade 11. I'm currently taking a coding course and that was the platform we were instructed to use.
