The PvP is gone be ruined and all the op people will be flying around spawn with their elytra's. Tipped arrows... Really? And then that new fruit (forgot the name), to easy to tp away from a fight. Anyone agree?

 

I'm sure that the server will take some of that into consideration. The chorus fruit is a bit op, but the elytra will be useless in a fight. You need to jump from a hietgh for the elytra to work. People would have to either sponge or pillar up. The elytra also removes the chest plate slot, so would you really give up protection for a chance to fly for a short distance?

 

Well when your flying with an elytra it isn't really a short flight since you can go pretty far with it, and I do indeed think that they will think about the fruit and the delay on the sword, since there is a command to disable it.

They have a fruit that when eaten, teleports you. They have implemented a stupid armour enchant which means you can throw XP bottles and like regain your armour. You can now fly... like wtf is that! You can't spam click PvP (unless you change a setting in the swords META). Axes now do more damage than swords... WHY! They made the ender dragon even easier to kill than before (which was easy, so now its super easy).

The list goes on and on and on. They did implement some stupid things, but I'm sure brawl will remove the timer and be able to tp with fruit. The good thing about 1.9 is that player flying detection will be improved. So not as many people should be kicked for flying once it updates to 1.9

 

Like I said, the chorus fruit and pvp will probably be fixed. If they were left in the game, there would be a huge loss in players. But the elytras are awesome. You would be a fool to use them in a fight. And it's not giving you the ability to fly, but the ability to glide. That's way different. Building wise, the new blocks are gorgeous. The new enchantments are op, but I'm pretty sure you can only find them in generated structures. The spectral arrows are really cool and would be so helpful in a fight. I'm sure you can find some good things in 1.9. The bad pvp will be fixed. Too many players hate it.

 

I'm not getting at the fact that they can change it, I'm getting at the fact the Mojang made the 'Combat Update' that ruined combat -.-

 

Plugins can solve everything.
1.7 mechanics
1.8 blocks
1.9 items

plus chorus fruit can be made to not teleport.
Tipped arrows would actually be very good to inflict someone with poison or slowness, gives a new aspect to
PvP.
Lingering potions are great for team healing and strategy.
I don't really see why people think 1.9 will kill PvP.

 

Ugh. Ok, you don't seem to be getting my point. Yes plugins can fix everything, but they shouldn't have to! I am getting at the fact that Mojang ruined PvP, first in 1.8, then further in 1.9. Why would you add a fruit that could tp you to a cave underground mid PvP to escape... I mean seriously!

 

I worked so hard to get full diamond which is now broken, so I don't think so.

It would be life saving in survival, but too op in multiplayer.
You could actually have that in factions. 1 of those for 2 mil.
It could have a chance of teleporting u into the base

 

See, teleporting into bases, again too OP. Track a raid, just eat some fruit until you get a tp into their base.
