Fireman is really balanced
You don't take fire/lava damage and you get a water bucket so you can MLG water

I've always loved Miner. I know some people don't enjoy mining, but having full iron ten minutes into the game is really, really satisfying.

 

It's also really good for having lasting tools and armor if you end up fighting a lot. If you know what you are doing you can easily outlast someone in a soup game as a miner.

 

I've really liked Phantom as of late, but when I don't use that I am usually Thor.

That's me! I still upload and play and stuff, just more like one video a month or so these days.

 

If I am going to tower, I would use stomper or glider
If I'm going to team, I use lifeline
If I'm going to kill towers I would get glider if I'm going up to the tower, or Thor if. I'm not.
If I had it I would use gladiator
If I want a good all around kit, I would use spellmaster or timelord.

It is very satisfying when you freeze a charging team or incoming stompers. It is also nice to win the game by a simple right click with spellmaster. (Happened only once)

 

My 2 favorite kits were both disabled, time lord and thermo ;-;

Urgal before it was nurfed into uselessness,

You used to get two splash potions of strength 2 which meant you could splash not only yourself but also your whole team. The fun we had with this kit was some of the best time we had on the game not to mention the number of kills we could amount was incredible. It was useful at any point in the game be it at the beginning or at the feast. It was honestly the greatest kit to have ever graced the hunger games.

But alas, the dream destroyers that call themselves mods just had to ruin it. They maimed and disfigured it beyond recognition. Now you only get two drinkable strength 1 potions that are just beyond useless. As a result the kit became unpopular and was eventually retired... and forgotten. Those that had spent their hard earned money on this once mighty kit were left with an pathetic unusable shadow of its former self. They say what goes up must come down but what they did to this brilliant kit was just brutal.

Please bring back the old Urgal, you broke my heart!

 

Choosing a kit is depended on who you fight against. Like, Madman is great for team fights. Or stomper is a powerful kit that reduces fall damage and puts that damage and people getting stomped. My favorite kit in HG is viper, because it really does a lot to 1v1's against people.

 

Thor is the best kit in the game.
Towers? NOPE.
1v1? WON.
Teams? Over y=70? NOPE.
You can: make massive traps, blow up towers, set fire to teams, and it does 3 hearts with each lightning strike. This is true damage, so armour won't stop the damage. The only counters are Fireman and Milkman when he has drunk his milk , and possibly Magma (not sure, it has Fire Resistance in its kit). GG
You can also take Gladiator to disable most kits as well.

 

Phantom and cannibal
