    I was thinking there could be a class that would improve depending on your current killstreak, kind of like dwarf , but instead of crouching to level up your sword, you would kill more people to level up your sword/weapon

    Uh, you seem to be missing some key components. For instance: armor, weapon, extra abilities, purpose, premium or free, etc. This concept needs a little more fine tuning.

    instead of the sword etc. getting better maybe the armor could increase

    You mean like thorns? Or just like protection and other armor enchantments?

    That's my point. This concept might also make a rather interesting rework for dwarf. I like the idea, that's why I'm pushing for more details.

    I think it should have an iron sword, sharpness 1 and start off with all leather armour with prot 1 and each time you kill another player, you get upgraded armour/swords

    I have started to develop this in my spare time at school... the hotbar will look like this when you start (no kills):

    It would be similar to Dwarf... I will continue to develop the class when I get more time

    This class would rely on random killing to get kills, which is something often frowned upon. Also, it'd be another snowballing class like dwarf. No thanks.

    Sounds like a form of KitPVP to me. Provides no real benefit to CTF gameplay - promotes random midfield killing. Also creates an extremely powerful heavy / dwarf without slowness.
    When creating a CTF class, try to focus on either a defensive or offensive class as a standpoint. Don't make it solely for this purpose and allow it to be somewhat flexible, however. Try to consider what classes it counters / what classes counter it, and how it can benefit the gameplay. Don't overcomplicate it, especially if it is intended to be a free class. Think of a unique ability or abilities that work with one another, the armour, the weapon of choice, and other classes. Try not to overpower it, also. Good luck next time. ^^

    There definitely will be slowness and the armor will be close to minimal...

    Classes that rely on "leveling up" are generally either gimmicky and useless or completely broken, especially when it's based on kills.

    Either they can't get enough levels in time to be useful, of they get a few lucky kills and are suddenly god on earth.

    A good class should have focus on being simple. Look at the classes everyone complains about: Mage, Engineer, for example. These classes stray extremely far from the Vanilla experience with all these crazy gadgets and magic, but in the end all they create is an unfun experience for people going against them. If you have to think "they'll have to code this in", stop and think about how you'd like fighting *against* that class. Do you enjoy being Ice Caged and Lightninged constantly? Do you enjoy having to deal with an Entire who drops turrets down and forces you to either run away or risk dying to a stream of arrows?

    I think your class, by concept, already breaks a few rules of proper game design and would be very unfun to play against.
