Idea [Class Concept] Ranger - Free Recovery

    The Ranger Class
    Free Recovery Class
    Armor:
    ¤ Dyed Leather Helmet protection III (Mix of Cactus Green and Purple)
    ¤ Dyed Leather Chestplate protection III (Mix of Cactus Green and Purple)
    ¤ Dyed Leather Pants protection III (Mix of Cactus Green and Purple)
    ¤ Dyed boots feather falling II protection III (Mix of Cactus Green and Purple)


    Items:
    ¤ Iron Sword Sharpness II “Numb-Sword”
    Deals 1 second of slowness I and resistance -1
    ¤ 2 Steaks
    Regens 4 hearts



    Abilities:
    ¤ 10 seconds of speed III when spawning, then permanent speed I

    ¤ Shift to teleport yourself to the direction you are looking at (12 blocks). Can tp through walls.
    Cooldown: 15 seconds

    The armor may need to be a different color or representing the team your on because new players can get confused if they are on their team or not.

    Also what do you mean by "free recovery"? That kinda sounds op (Title).

    Yes xD I forgot that blue was a team's color .. I'll change it.. free recovery means that the class is free, and that its role is recovery. But what do you think of the class itself ?

    I like this idea, but the sword's slowness ability is a bit op. Maybe if you can get a different item to make the player get the debuff, along with a CD. I don't like the double jump because you can get called for hacks, and it is op when added along with the speed. Choose one, not both. I will prefer the speed than double jump.

    I was once in your shoes, @Flazhinq until I quit. Most of the time no one will even reply to my ideas and I would get depressed for not being noticed and be quite concerned about my life. Pls take caution when going down this path...

    A recovery class, in my opinion, should be a recovery class because it counters capping classes, not because it's given obvious recovery-oriented items. It should take out high-health or high-armour flagcarriers more easily (since that's a niche in the recovery aspect not covered by ninja).

    Conceptually, I don't think this class works. The sword would hardly scratch a heavy or chemist, and soldiers would simply fly away.

    It doesn't have a hard enough counter to chemist and heavy to be of use recovering off them. It doesn't have good enough mobility to counter soldier capping. I can see it being useful against medics, but ninjas can already do that well.

    This class would be ineffective at taking out the classes that require a counter, and is made redundant because ninja can recover off a medic far more effectively than this class would. At the end of the day it's yet another low-armoured class that's effective at taking out other low-armoured classes, and we don't need any more of those.

    Theres a chance it could go somewhere , but you haven't given much detail , it's not enough for a class to just have a sword speed and a 15 second cooldown teleport , you could make an item that makes you go 20 blocks when clicked , but it feels incomplete , +0.5

    I'm pretty sure protection 3 leather armor is better than standard iron armor. I like the idea of teleporting, but through walls is kinda op, and I don't know if there is a way to code it so that you don't teleport inside a block. +0.7
