How to Nuke

Nuking is the one of the hardest things to do in Mc-War, especially if you're a lower level player. For anyone who doesn't know, it's the 21 killstreak and once you get 21 kills without dying, a nuke gets sent out, killing all of the enemy team (if they don't have spawn resistance).

For higher level players, it is a lot easier because they have more powerful weapons and usually have more experience getting those kills. For lower level players, it is definitely a great deal harder to nuke (or even EMP) due to the low power of the weapons and low ammo count.

The first thing you will want to do is try to find a general place to run around without getting too exposed. The best places are on maps where there is a large corridor or corner with no chance of an enemy getting behind you and killing you from behind. This eliminates the need to worry about the area behind and keep focused in one direction or area.

I believe the hardest part is keeping it cool right after the EMP. For me, once I get an EMP, my heart starts racing and I start to think about if I can nuke or not. To combat this, if there's enough time, I would sit behind a wall and just regain my composure for ten or so seconds. This will get you back in the game and ready to continue getting the kills.

Another hard part is trying not to rush it once you get an EMP. I find myself always trying to crank out as many kills as I can in a very short time. This puts me more out in the open and more exposed to getting shot. This is terrible and many times, gets me killed when I'm close to nuking. My best advice is just to keep calm and remember, there is no hurry to nuke before 100 seconds is up or something like that. If there's time, just relax and let the kills flow without jumping to anything sudden. Just keep doing what you were doing before and don't try any new tactics that you weren't doing before in that game.

Ammo conservation is a key part in nuking. If you don't want to pay $3 and get scav, nuking is a little harder. Accuracy is very important. Without accuracy, you can't hit targets well, which n turn, wastes precious ammo. I would suggest staying away from automatics below the Prestige level and SMGs because they waste large amounts of ammo to only get one kill. Practice shooting enemies from all sorts of different angles and distances. As the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect."

Lastly, I want to talk about keeping it cool when getting shot. Some times, you will get shot and just know it's the end of the killstreak. There are certain situations where nothing can be done to get out and regen some health. Other times, you will get shot out of the blue and can just hide behind a wall to gain some health back. Also, don't just give up once you get shot a couple times, just see what you can do to get out of the situation.
