    Also try OBS. It can record 1080p 60fps, it can also live stream. It's also free :smile:

    There's also Plays.tv, which passively records the last 20 minutes of gameplay which you can cap to a file at any time for highlights

    Camtasia is nice but at $299 pretty expensive.

    Bandicam $39.

    I went a head and bought Fraps based on feedback from others and ease of use. Cost $37.


    Looking into starting Evil-tastic youtubes... #Soon

    How do you overlay sound on top of a Fraps recording?

    To record videos, I highly recommend Action! By Mirrillis. I've never had a problem, even on my worst computer. To edit videos I'd recommend Vegas Pro. Both of the programs can be crack, though I payed for my Action.
