CTF gameplay series?

    I'm thinking of starting a series where I'd discuss the mechanics/strategy/skill cap/balance of each class one at a time. I would also expand on other topics once I'm done with all the classes, such as class matchups, CTF teams vs regular servers, how to's and stuff. Thinking of calling it 'Capture the Knowledge' or something like that.

    The reason I'm making this post is go see if there would be a general interest for this. It would help newer players understand class mechanics, and I guarantee everyone would learn something.

    This would be a cool idea.
    Include different classes to play on different maps e.g archer on desert strike etc.

    I was thinking of listing maps that the class is good on, and some of the best players of the class for each one.

    This would be really helpful for newer players on Brawl and CTF in general , if this series could be started I would watch it for sure.

    So, there seems to be interest. Now my computer isn't the greatest, so I was wondering if anyone has a 10-15 minute gameplay of Archer that I could use in the background of the video. @wintergreen3 maybe you have one? c:.

    (Note: I will give credit and link the channel of anyone who lets me use their gameplay)

    Go for it! I made YT videos for a while and loved it, I just didnt have the time to continue. Some tips: Make sure you put in the time (If you have editing questions, let me know), make sure the video records in atleast 720p (let me know what recording software you use, I can help you), speak clearly, avoid background noise, add a camera if you have a good quality one, and perhaps bring some buds along (just keep them quite so as not to be a distraction).

    PM me any questions you have about making vids, I don't know how experienced you are.

    u should include the top 5/10 players for some of the OTHER classes where there arent many people that are good at it.

    I will do every class at some point.
    I have quite a bit of experience just not the best computer.

    Gotcha! I was in a similar situation, it is hard to make good videos with subpar equipment. What programs do you prefer?

    I can send you footage of classes as my recordings are alright, except the actual gameplay part is poo since I ain't very good at them xD

    Hang on, you want to talk over someone else's video? Or have I got that wrong?

    If that's what you're thinking of doing, then it might be easier to just start a blog. I've seen your posts on the forums, you're a veteran and obviously very knowledgeable and, more importantly, you're a good writer. With Brawl's permission you could even put some ads up there.

    If I've got the wrong idea, or you're set on youtube, then get a better microphone. And a better screen recording software. And probably a better computer while you're at it. I don't think the content would be a problem, but it would make things a hell of a lot nicer if you could record your own decent footage and do voiceovers at your own pace.

    Whatever you do though, you're certainly the right man for the job.
