Hey guys! This is my first time posting an idea, so I'll try not to f it up to bad.
Reason: I don't know if anyone else is noticing this, but it's a reoccuring problem for me. I'm beating someone, then they either relog, or use the nether star to respawn. (They'd take a death, so long as I don't get the kill). We all know how frustrating it is to be cheated out of a kill that we won't get back. So I propose...
Solution: 1. A person cannot respawn until 3 seconds after taking damage, preventing the nether star respawn in mid combat. When someone attempts to respawn before the three seconds have passed, red text will appear in the chat notifying the person that they have to wait three seconds.

    2. When a person relogs (hits escape, then disconnect) an npc will appear with the name tag "free kill", granting anyone who kills it a kill (duh).

Now, this has the potential to be spammed by people who want quick kills. The solution is simple:
If a person combat logs twice, they will be kicked from the game until the match has finished.
Well, that's it! Opinions? Suggestions? Rants about how stupid this idea is? Give me an opinion in the comments, and have a great day ^-^!

People also like could randomly need to go, and getting a death because of needing to go, uh?

They would need to randomly leave in the middle of a fight? Remember, an npc would only appear if the person disconnects before the three seconds have expired, so unless they were in combat, getting a death because they have to leave shouldn't happen

    Hey Ace,
Although this problem doesn't really effect me, I could see how it could be frustrating for others. I think this idea would have a lot of issues. For example, if your flag has just been taken and you want to get back and kill the carrier you may not be able to due to the 3 second wait. I think it all comes down to the fact that although it may be frustrating, people need to just keep their head held high and don't let themselves get mad over it because Its just a kill.
    Keep up the good work!

I think this is pretty pointless to be honest.

The only thing I can see this helping is a couple people's stat page. Is that a -1 from me? No, but I just don't see much point in adding this feature :stuck_out_tongue:

That won't completely solve the problem, since players can just jump into the void, quickly steak to full health, and then respawn without dying. I tested doing that, once, and I can accomplish all those tasks within 2 seconds.

As the head of the National Combat Loggers Association of America I can tell you right now combat-logging is not a 'problem'. It is a way of retaliation against arrogant young teenagers who are too blinded by their raging testosterone to realize that others have the right to leave whenever they damn well please!

Eeeh, I really don't think this is necessary. I know from personal experience that it's annoying to have someone log on you, but it very rarely happens; if you see someone that you know will combat log, just shoot 'em with Archer or something that doesn't take as long to kill with, so you don't waste more time trying to kill them.
