The lag on CTF.

    So I'm just guessing that the coders are fixing problems with CTF and it's causing a generous amount of lag to the point where you cant wall climb as soldier and taking damage from sponges (even with soldier), referring to 12/6/15. My point is that we should be warned that it's going to be a bad day to play CTF and not be attacked on surprise.

    i love it when there's sponge lag and you wind up going all the way to their spawn... G_G

    Its not as bad as when youre playing a match and youre the pyro, and you freeze so you switch computers, but the time youre gone they get the only cap of the map ._. I freeze a hella lot on the match server, so if that can be fixed cuz my team needs me <#

    I don't mind a 32% gamespeed once in a while. It brings a new dynamic and often follows by a bunch of big diamond swords sent by BrawlBot to obliterate sponge users

    I'm not actually sure. It freezes and nothing I do works for about 10 seconds. And I am only sure of Skyworlds Rotation, some of the be maps, and Blackout, because by the time I freeze I hop off and sub in for me. I might start recording it, but it's a really annoying problem ;-;

    Out of curiosity, what makes your post which mentions the lag in CTF any more productive than any other post that mentions the lag in ctf?

    I mean, what are they going to warn you about at this point? "Hey, just a heads up, CTF is going to lag like it always has?"

    If you can move your head/body smoothly and look around, then it's not FPS lag. But if it doesn't look at all like the video below, it might be something with your connection. If players freeze while you can still move your head around freely without any freezes in your game, then that's your connection, whether it be your own internet or Brawl.
    Next time, hit fn+f3 and see what you get FPS wise, just to check ;D

    (He's got around 15 FPS)

    I can't move and everything freezes. It's not my internet I don't think, because it only happens on tre match server, not waiting for it to start but in game, and only with whitelist. This weekend I want to try something I hope will work, but if it doesn't I'm gonna die xd ;-;

    Been noticing a bit of lag too, although it doesn't seem to be too major right now. I wouldn't really worry about it. :smile: Maybe it's just your computer?

    Try to see how much FPS you get on certain maps. I highly doubt it has something to do with the match server - I could even play a couple of FPS straining maps that could help us figure out what's going on.

    I play all the maps I freeze on in regular games. Sky worlds Rotation I never freeze on in game, but in matches. I also have a solid 60 fps in game normally

    i think were talking about this ridiculous problem where its the whitelist that causes this stuff... this shouldnt be possible, but we have another one confirming it?

    where else is the cause
